Will Ithaca make the playoffs this year without the AQ. If all three teams finish 9-1 I see SJF and SC representing the E8. I can't fathom three teams from E8 making it to the dance. thoughts?

No offense scgrad but we've really beat this one to death - go and read about 20 pages back to get all of the info.

In short the consensus is that there is in fact a very good possibility that 3 E8 teams get in.

Upstate,

Ccontrary to your convoluted thoughts, we are the underdog, as well as next week.  The SAXONS will play their best I hope and make a good showing.  Anything can happen.

Best wishes in your recovery, whatever it may entail.

Who's thoughts are convoluted?

Everyone know's AU is the dog the next two weeks, where was it said otherwise?

My recovery?

Is this a senior citizen's dry attempt of a humorus comment?

IMO, you fit the criteria of a senior with dimentia.  If your kids are having trouble with coming up with the money for your caregiver, let me know.  I can certainly help out if needed.

I do hope you didn't damage your artificial hip while falling off your rocker, trying to reach your bedpan.....

well if you dont mind my asking how often do three teams from a conference go to dance?

I'm not one to stand in the way of some shots back & forth but that was slightly over the top upstate.

I've been known to flip my lid at least once or twice a season....

Not a clue - I doubt it has happened much.

Consult Tecmobowler & maybe some vets like JoseQ ... they'll probably know.

I will do that, I have just never heard of it, and I dont think it's a gimme, someone always gets left out every year it seems, this year looks like it'll be the E8's turn.

There's a great chance to get 3 in if Hobart runs the table and Cortland beats up Rowan and loses to IC....

Otherwise a 9-1 E8 team might be left behind, a bigger snow job than AU being left behind last season....

Totally agreed, but so goes college football. Who do you guys feel would be considered in the "driver seat" as a lock for the playoffs from the E8?

They'll have your question answered by mid-morning I'm sure. Nothings ever a gimme... big games coming up.  Ithaca-AU ... Fisher-AU ... Ithaca-Cortland

Everything up in the air still.

Springfield - they have the softest schedule remaining so they'll be in at 9-1 w/ a solid win over Fisher.

Thats why I love college football.
