Totally agreed, but so goes college football. Who do you guys feel would be considered in the "driver seat" as a lock for the playoffs from the E8?

Its the Prides to lose at this point, IC has no shot at it if all 3 finish 9-1....

However, there is a possibility of SJF winning it if they get help from Kings/UR/Mt. IDA....

Too many ifs though, so its SC's unless Hartwick manages to score 60 this weekend....

You did just inquire about my sister Upstate...

But that could be a problem in later rounds.

Saxons73,

Nick Gatto made a big mistake and on a page like this if you make a mistake we will hammer you for it.  Being a Cardinal Crazy Alumni, someone facebooked Amherst College B-ball players to get info to taunt at them, a lot of good that did us. but we all need someone to dog and Nick gave us a great target.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

NotSM - I think that Slaton would have to split time w/ Hansen. You know, back-up backs splitting time behind the starters splitting time.

It's all about how to utilize your talent & I think split backs behind split backs makes sense.

You really can't complain though...

When Robby had that 2,000yd 25td season in 04, that team was 8-1 going into the bye week....

He's getting less carries, offense is still putting up huge numbers and their record is the same....

ya I agree,  but Pat White would probably be the JV QB

But how do you demote a kid after a 2k+ season b/c of an injury? ... Say what you will about a "lingering injury" but that's not the case. Vosburgh realized reile was a good athlete and panic set in. He coudn't think of anything creative to get him touches outside of kickoffs so he  thought long & hard and came up with... having them split time. That makes no sense to me and will never make sense.

Maybe... But the ever ready coaching staff would realize his talent & would move quickly to find creative ways to get him in the game... Something to really utilize him & help his team be even better... Say, gunner on punt team?

I dont see a demotion there...

Its not like he's sittin the bench or something, he's productive when needed.  This offense has evolved from the previous OC's controll.  Is there a need for a QB to throw 5 TDs or a RB score 6 TD's anymore at SJF?  Not anymore.  Its no longer about gaining attention from stats, they're about being an effective offense.

I dont think that the coaches are that crazy about giving a player like Robby 35 carries unless the game situation calls for it.  I'd love to see a 250yd day from Robby, but I dont think its apart of this offense anymore.

Upstate- I am not lobbying for a 35 carry day from Robinson. I totally agree that there needs to be a balanced offensive attack. Here is the thing, you take what Robinson brings to the table away when you don't give him a chance to get touches & get into the flow of the game. He's like Mike Hart, he gets better the more he carries. They tried that split series garbage against ithaca & it didn't pay off. Both backs were out of sync & a stingy defense will eat you alive when that happens (reference 1H of Ithaca). Someone accidently gave Mark a few series in a row and look what happened in the 2nd half.

My point is this... They can get away with taking him out of the flow of the game vs. a team like Mt. Ida. What happens when they need the running game vs. a good defense like Ithaca?

Plus the OC that was there during Mark's 2,000 season is back on board now. They don't throw any more times today than they used to then w/ Noah.
