Yea, lets ruin Cortlands season.  Ill be satisified with that.

Congrats to Alfred, those guys have ALWAYS been tough at home, even when Ithaca was the top team in the country.  I remember we lost to them in 1994 when we went to the final 4.  Those guys always stepped up at home when there was a big game.  Im sure they had a big crowd there too as they always had thousands fans for the IC game.

Who knows how the East will do in the national playoffs this year.  It doesnt seem like there are any dominant teams.  Union and Rowan are shaky, SJF and Springfield have minor potential.  Hobart and Alfred probably wont do anything.  Cortland is hopefully done this week.

Congrats to AU, your team came out and played a solid game, they deserved the win, there "D" really stepped up yesterday.

XREDDRAGON77

Its a Big week coming up wit one team looking to ply spoiler and the other clawing for a Pool C. Being at Rowan first hand, they are pretty nasty defensively.  Cortland had 8 sacks yesterday but a pick run back, leaving a short field set up a Rowan slant to the end zone.  Cortland just missed a 36 yard FG on the last play of the half.  Man thats tasted bad.

Well at least your team isn't 3-6...this season sucks to be a follower for me.

Same here... I hate to see Utica struggle... I've been there..

Might be a good game if the two met!

I would hope it would be a good game, but we've played Brockport before in the past and got smoked.

I remember, I broadcasted the game which we scored, I think, 42 points in the first half?  That was in Brockport's good 4-year stretch so I think if the two played now it would be a lot closer than that

so there is no fear of Cortaca bantor +K every 24 hours for those who post.

We'll see yah on the Cortaca board

Don't worry Dubbz.  Now you can focus on the Knicks!

Sarge your living the high life if you think that a 2 loss Alfred team would get in over a 2 loss cortland team or a 2 loss rowan team or even a 2 loss hobart team or a 2 loss UofR team  and the other thing is unless Alfred completly shuts down the fisher offense... which NO ONE HAS DONE yet and holds them under 28.  I mean look at these teams that we're looking at no one has held Fisher under 28 this year and the only teams to score over 20 is Brockport (which I still don't get but props to port for doing it) and Springfield where I think Mike Vick, Vince Young and the Broncos O-Line were playing for Springfield

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I keep seeing some references to Curry, who is undefeated; does anyone have any insight to the strength of their conference.

Insight: they've never  won a playoff game, and basically there is no strength to that conference

Port,

I kinda thought so. Thanks.

I'm back everyone. A bitter, disappointing weekend, but hats off to a seemingly very good Alfred team that deserved it. I guess Mr. Gatto decided that a year of ridicule was enough. Of course, I ain't gonna stop saying "Saterday"... are you?

CORTACA WEEK. Let the games before the game begin. The Bombers have one opponent to take their anger out on.... 2004 redux here we come.
