Been doing that right along. Don't go to the LL boards much anymore....can't follow their conversations, so many inside jokes and very little talk of football. But AUPepBand likes third person. Force of habit, perhaps, from J-school Newswriting Class.

They are good, dont get me wrong, but the have gone one and done the past two trips in.  They are just too one-dimensional and they've been exposed....

When one considers Springfield's big win over Fisher, one must take into account that Fisher's coaches are terrible at preparing their team for things like SC's offense. The next week IC, who knows SC as well as any team, beat them in a game that was not a fluke. You have to expect much better scouting in the tournament than SC ran into in the regular season. Chris Sharpe is not even the most talented QB SC has had in the last ten years; he's not God's gift to the program. Ithaca exposed his sloppiness and playoff teams will do the same.

Maxpower...I'm sorry, any springfield fan, player, or COACH would tell you he is the best qb to go through springfield in the last 10 years and then a lot more than that.  Not just his athletic ability, he makes the right reads 9 out of ten times and can break it from anywhere on the field.

I will concede on a lot of points but he is absolutely the best qb they have had.

Sharpe is a great athlete, but as has been mentioned on here, Nick Cahill would have run circles around him. At IC there were at least three plays where Sharpe either collided with the fullback on the dive handoff/fake dive handoff or there just wasn't anyone there to take/fake taking a handoff when he spun. A friend of mine that's been following IC for a long time said he didn't remember that happening three times total with previous Springfield QB's.

Sharpe was not good at all at one of the most important aspects of the Springfield offense: the fake handoff on a pass play. Every single time he threw, I knew it was a pass play. If you can't fool ME, that's not good. The same guy said that in the three games he saw Cahill play he was right once on a pass play.
