Upstate... just curious, you think SC could not handle rowan but SJF could? interesting view..

What do you guys think about an SC rowan matchup...I am in favor of it kind of for following reasons

Rowan has marginale offense and even a "porous"(sp?) SC defense could hold them to a moderate total...

SC has a great offense but could rowan really stop them all day long? gotta count on Sharpe bustin some big ones on the turf.

Can someone elighten me on Dickinson and what they're about?

Does 2 losses make you a lower seed?

With that rationale, shouldn't curry be a 1 seed if they go undefeated?

Not really, but Rowan hasnt impressed anyone this year yet.  So you cant really say that a lower seed isnt justified....

They had a pretty tough road with thier NJAC counterparts.  That  doesn't surprise us.  Also may say that the NJAC was an overall tougher conference this year.  You weren't impressed with the 32-8 thrashing of CNU.

Dont get me wrong that was a great win, but then they've been so up and down the rest of the season it makes you wonder if it was more a result of one team playing better or worse than they actually are capable of....

You can say that.  But as a fan of D3 football I was slightly dissappointed  that not one team came out as the obvious frontrunner.  That leaves me to believe that Rowan might still have the edge.  Especially during playoff times!

Not out of the closet, out of probation.  You guys cried to Pat enough to get me suspended from the board.  You sure talk about manlove a lot.  Are you curious?

Nobody sent me a complaint. I just knew it was way way out of line, and considering that we officially take a dim view on posts that do nothing but bash another poster, what did you think we would do when you created a poll in that vein?

Pat, have you SEEN the cortaca board? Or this board the week of IC-Fisher last year? And does the LL board even talk about football?

Also Pat, you should wander over to the LL boards... not much going on over there in the way of football, actually, sports in general...

I am aware.

Cortaca board simply gets deleted next Tuesday. LL board, tell me, are people posting solely to bash other posters? That is not something I have seen. Perhaps it isn't on-topic but someone bolded my words above -- perhaps actually reading them would be helpful.

I was just pointing out that if you're trying to clean things up that don't have anything to do with football to take a look there.

The people bashing I have no idea about... didn't bold your words.

This is wild.  I need to read this board full-time just to keep up.

It will be tough for Springfield to beat anyone in the playoffs without a well balanced offense... especially Rowan.

Jonny Utah

Id give rowan a 2 seed based on last years performance.  Those guys are clutch.  Untill they get beaten at home or in the playoffs by an east team, Id give Rowan some points for just being a good, clutch, playoff, east team.

Yeah, i think SJF matches up better vs Rowan than Springfield does.

Rowan has such a great defense, if they have springfields number what are they going to do?

SJF's has a much more balanced offense and will be able to spread them out and run it....

With the athletes that Rowan has, I think they could put some points up on a "bend but dont break" type of D that springfield has....

That doesn't hold any weight...That's like saying the Steelers should be a #2 seed in the playoffs this year b/c of last years performance.

At least Rowan has only one loss (d3).  different story.  Im just sick of east teams that have one good year getting high seeds and then getting smoked in the playoffs.  Rowan should at least get some points for their playoff experience.

I'd concede giving Rowan a higher seed over Dickinson... But you have to earn it in the current year. The teams with 1 loss or less have earned their spot, regardless if they get beat early or not.
