If this is indeed true, is he now a candidate for the Coaches Hall of Shame?

The Truth 00

First time poster here. I'm glad the IC guys are swamped on the cortaca board. Bomber fans - don't stoop to the level of Cortland fans!

I read this site when I get a chance and there's some humorous stuff that goes on here. First off, what's the deal with the spelling of "Saterday"?   Second, the NEFC shouldn't even receive a playoff bid because that conference is garbage. All the committee is doing is leaving out a quality team like an Alfred, IC, Cortland, etc that is going to challenge a #1 seed much better than Coast Guard or Curry. Coast Guard sucks it up in the FFC, LL, and then they dominate the NEFC. It just doesn't make sense. Third, any coach that posts on this website, full of d3 fans, should be canned. That is absurd.

realistic,

The profiles give you their e-mail identity - if they use their own.  You probably knew that - just threw it out there for general info for some of the newer posters as we seem to have many lately.

also, congrats to alfred on a big win vs IC. its all or nothing this saturday against the cardinals. is the game at growney or merrill?  merrill field is a TOUGH place to play.

OK guys , as I am the Alfred guy on line, I'll try to summarize for Truth's question about "Saterday."

Last year an Alfred player was caught posting. He referred to the up coming game v Ithaca and lining up against them on "Saterday".  He was outed and this has been a source of humor since then.

I recently argued -enough was enough as other people are affected by this running on and on.(Parents, brothers, sisters etc.)

After Alfred beat Ithaca Mr N, a highly respected poster, whose son plays for Ithaca declared it was now SatUrday in his house.  I believe as a parent he understood my point of view.

truth - the timing of this is ironic.  Most of the guys here have taken to spelling Saterday because of a player who came on here and posted....it's always a bad idea but in this case his spelling left something to be desired as well.  You will see exited for excited as well.

Truth,

As I understand it, the winner will be co-champs with Springfield, but SpF'd gets the conference automatic qualifier for the playoffs.

thanks for clarifying that for me. was that the gatto kid? i'm pretty sure its tempting for players to come and write on this but they better prepare to be fed to the wolves. oh man, things get vicious in here. can we make some predictions for e8 awards or what?

POY - sharpe
coach of year - either delong or murray
ROY - not sure but perhaps manzer from alfred. he's posting some good numbers.

now if sc beats norwich, they get the AQ. however, whoever wins the alfred/fisher game ties them for the conference championship. tell me how that works when sc has beaten both teams. or am i just being an idiot here? i've read all these possible tiebreaker scenarios and my brain gets jumbled.

The Truth 00

yea so how you can you share a conference championship with a team that you've beaten head-to-head?  hypothetically speaking, lets say alfred wins and "shares" the championship, they still may get left out of the playoffs (even though that would be a bunch of b.s.). what kind of reward would that be?? and if alfred wins, thats 3  8-2 overall e8 teams (if ithaca beats cortland), alfred has the lower QQW (or whatever the hell its called) then ithaca and fisher may still have a shot......i guess my brain is still jumbled.  a lot of crap could still happen.
