Each of the "co" teams will have1 in conference loss - identical W-L records.  The head to head determines the AQ

yea so how you can you share a conference championship with a team that you've beaten head-to-head?  hypothetically speaking, lets say alfred wins and "shares" the championship, they still may get left out of the playoffs (even though that would be a bunch of b.s.). what kind of reward would that be?? and if alfred wins, thats 3  8-2 overall e8 teams (if ithaca beats cortland), alfred has the lower QQW (or whatever the hell its called) then ithaca and fisher may still have a shot......i guess my brain is still jumbled.  a lot of crap could still happen.

SC and SJF/AU will have one conference loss at the end of the year....thus being co champs.

Even with a Win, AU still is a longshot to make it.  That loss to Hobart is gonna hurt them bad, especially the way Bart lost to Union and the result of the Bart/UR game will also have some bearing on it.

If there are 3, 2 loss teams in the E8 (if AU beats SJF) then AU has the best shot at being selected.  If SJF and IC are left with 2 losses its ECAC ville for them....

I think you're starting to get the idea.  There has been tons of discussion on exactly what you are saying and experiencing.  It had my head spinning for sometime and now I only think I got it right.

Truth,

Just to add to the confusion of your scenariio, with IC having a better QOW than AU, IC still lost to AU head on head.  So the combination of things only gets more bizzare.

Upstate, I'd say we are in agreement on this.

i guess its just kind of weird that a conference championship would be "shared" even though one team gets the AQ. sc will most likely get the AQ because they defeated both alf and fisher but because they both have 1 loss....blah blah blah whatever.

I disagree about the alfred loss to hobart. hobart still only has 1 loss to a legit union team (i hate saying that because i strongly dislike union. next, Frank Rossi will be breathing down my neck. Sorry Frank.)

I think its pretty clear cut this year....

Just checked the stats, Manzer is having quite a freshman year....

It happened in 04 w/ SJF and IC, they both had the same conference record but SJF won the head to head....

If the Bart/Union game was close it would be different, but Bart got dominated by Union....

OK guys , as I am the Alfred guy on line, I'll try to summarize for Truth's question about "Saterday."

Last year an Alfred player was caught posting. He referred to the up coming game v Ithaca and lining up against them on "Saterday".  He was outed and this has been a source of humor since then.

I recently argued -enough was enough as other people are affected by this running on and on.(Parents, brothers, sisters etc.)

After Alfred beat Ithaca Mr N, a highly respected poster, whose son plays for Ithaca declared it was now SatUrday in his house.  I believe as a parent he understood my point of view.

I agree that this is going too far.  Let's just end it here and hope the E8 does well this Saterday.

Yes, Manzer is an explosive player.  Good hands and speed.  Gibbons the TE has done a great job coming from RB, although he is a Senior.  Keeley Airlines is diverse.

who will be the 1st and 2nd team qbs? its between boltus, keeley and kramer. boltus probably will because him and crea are the only 2 standouts on that team. keeley is putting up solid numbers again this year. the kramer kid from sjf has 14 tds and 0 ints....that has to stand for something. i know he's missed the last 2 games but if he has a big game at alfred, who knows. i'd have to believe that vosbergh would nominate him.

realistic

I'd say Sharpe/Kramer.... fairly clear cut.

Keeley had a monster year, but is still below the other two.

The Truth 00

yea but sharpe is winning the POY hands down. i don't think they put the POY for 1st and 2nd team honors.

what about boltus...that kid is good. he puts up numbers yet has no weapons but crea on that offense. he did get picked 4 or 5 times last weekend though
