yea but sharpe is winning the POY hands down. i don't think they put the POY for 1st and 2nd team honors.

what about boltus...that kid is good. he puts up numbers yet has no weapons but crea on that offense. he did get picked 4 or 5 times last weekend though

even if he's the POY, doesn't he still get tabbed as the #1 QB?

All he is, is a RB that takes the ball from center....

D3football.com has put option QB's at RB before on their AA teams....

Upstate... PLease stop, he is not a running back he is a quarterback

He takes the ball, he makes the calls, he runs the huddles, he throws the pass(es).

I don't understand why his ability as a runner is getting him knocked as a QB.  Regardless of whether or not he throws the ball a lot, he is effective.  Anyone who is trusted running the offense (and taking the snaps) is QB for a reason.  I don't think he should looked at as a RB just because he runs 95% of the time.  It works.

Johnny,

I actually was there several years ago.  If I remember correctly it is a very nice place on Cattaragus Lake, just north of Jamestown.  As I recal it's kind of artsy, craftsy and probaly has some nice B+B's.  There was one espescially nice Entertainment spot on the lake to add enjoyment of libations.  That's the best I can recall.

Couldn't agree with you more realistic...

Michael Vick was a QB at tech, no one called him a RB

Vince Young?

Pat White??

Granted they throw the ball but only a littttttttle bit more...

There is no POY this year, the E8 has approved offensive and defensive POYs.

Look for Sharpe and Lang, respectively. DeLong, Manzer.

well....I don't think Vince Young is a good comparison, he throws a lot more.

I'd go with Crouch from Nebraska....he won the Heisman and hardly ever did anything but run the option.

Didn't he try to convert to a WR when he got to the NFL?

Where'd you get that information from?
