Norwich is so "toasted" this week....

Wish I could see the AU-SJF contest on a tape delay........I think the Cardinals and Union might be poised to do some damage in the East, but AU may shoot a hole in that......

        Cortaca in three more days......Coooortland......

Re: Norwich...toasted:
Heard that Norwich end zone plebes have been ordered to guard Cadet goal line and "let nothing through." May take something sharpe to penetrate the Cadets.

Re: Tape Delay
AUPepBand secured tape of 2005 Fisher-AU battle at Growney for Dad AUPepBand's birthday present (then "borrowed" it). AUPepBand cringes just watching the hits BB put on Suchyna...

Speaking of Fisher QB's ... Kramer will bring a much different presence to the game than Sooch did. He is by far a better Quarterback... And if Robinson gets his carries this should make for a much better offensive outing for the Cards.

Kramer brings just a little bit more to the table than Sooch does....

i don't think upstate is taking anything from springfield dropping 55 on them...he's just making light of the fact the the SJF defense is pretty good against those conventional offenses, i.e. ithaca, norwich, mt. ida, utica, etc...meaning they've given up pretty much 6 points per game to all of the others...not bad.
Truth,  I understand you are quoting the real numbers, but meaning no dissrespect, the Mt Ida, Norwich and Utica scores really should be given less consideration.  They are struggling teams and get beat up all the time. Again, no diss but they are just not yet ready to be seriously included.  I apologize in advance if anyone is offended.

The Truth 00

thanks upstate.

norwich is a cool place to play, with all of their cadets and cannons and whatnot. however, that team just plain stinks. i heard their new coach is a good guy so best of luck to him. hopefully the cadets won't be doing too many pushups this saturday.

Nothing against Sooch, but Kramer brings a lot more to the table in my opinion.

I'll give you the Mt. Ida game, but AU also plays Norwich and Utica so those results can be compared.

sorry about those examples saxon73...i'd say giving up 10 points to both ithaca and rochester, while posting donuts in the second half is pretty legit. no offense taken at all.

if i'm fisher, i pound the crap out of robinson all day long. he's a horse, and as i stated earlier, only gets better with time.  seriously though, WHY do we have to debate whether or not he is going to get the ball that much, especially with kramer coming back after an injury???

i know i'm new at this but post patterns is like a cold busch light...addictive.

B/c Vosburgh has sanctioned the splitting of time between Robinson & Reile. Evidently nobody on the coaching staff was creative enough to get Reile on the field at the same time as Robinson so that's how it ended up.

Yes, there has been comparable team score discussions before on the board.  The unknown is the decisions the coaches make on when to start playing replacements or try new things while they have the chance, running up the score or whatever.  I'm not making any accusations but we don't know what is going on inside the various coaches heads when they get to a certain point in a given game.
