...or even Fisher's is a decent site.

With the small exception of the polls on the front page of the site and their propensity to change when discovered.

Eh, pay no mind to them... they're harmless Jose

If we didn't pay mind to the Fisher website polls we wouldn't have had nearly as much fun as we did the week leading up to that game.

It's hard to believe but, the week before that game was much more fun than this week.  That isn't how a rivalry is supposed to be.

What is the QB situation for Cortland this weekend?  Do they have any chance at winning this game?  Ithaca too balanced for Cortland I think...not enough offense for the dragons without a decent QB in there.

Cortland is forced to play either a freshman or a senior.  Combined they had taken 5 career snaps before the third quarter at Rowan.

Given the quality of both defenses and two QBs getting their Cortaca cherry popped, I would definitely bet the under.

With both defenses being stingy, you'd have to give the edge to Juvan I would assume, as he's been their leader all season... This may make all the difference in the world.

I really think Ithaca should win this game....Cortland has absolutely no offense, while Ithaca seems to have more offense than Rowan does..... Overall, I would give the edge to IC 17-6

I'd set the over/under at 29.5.

pretty good number

It'd be funny if there was an offensive explosion and it ended 55-52.

Wow, take it easy tiger.

Just found out that I am going to miss the Cortaca radio broadcast and keep up via text message updates from one maxpower.  I got tickets for the Ol' Ballcoach's return to the Swamp.  Lookin' forward to watching the Cock and Fire play in the place the Fun n' Gun made the man a legend.

Here's what I believe will happen in the Important east tilts tomorrow (Likelihood the exact opposite will happen--- and 2 weeks ago I would never have believed what I'm about to say  :o), and what will result because of it....

As I already stated, I think Ithaca will beat Cortland, 17-6.  Rowan will crush WPU and clinch the Pool A bid once and for all.  The same for Springfield over Norwich.  Fisher  (Fans don't look) will LOSE to Alfred again this year, by a score of 21-20.  Wilkes will beat King's, but only by a small margin, 17-13.  Hobart puts away U of R but again, in a close game.  Union wins the shoes in a game that means nothing as far as berths go.

Therefore, the East Will Shakedown like this.

The Easy Choices:

1. Wilkes 10-0  (A)
2. Springfield 9-1 (A)
3. Union 9-1 (A)
4. Hobart 9-1 (C)
5. Rowan 7-2 (A)

The other Easy Choice:

7.  Curry/Coast Guard (A)

The middle of the Pack (Note, in this scenario there are only 2-loss teams left in the East):

6.  Dickinson (A) -- Gets moved over because the east has too many teams.

This leaves one bid left, and Ithaca, Alfred, Fisher and Cortland as 2 loss teams looking for a Pool C bid so....gasp....

8.  Alfred (C)

First Round we'd get the Matchups as follows:

(8 ) Alfred @ (1) Wilkes -- Alfred gets the 8 mainly to avoid rematch with SC
(7) Curry @ (2) Springfield
(6) Dickenson @ (3) Union
(5) Rowan @ (4) Hobart

This probably isnt close but these are my semi-sorta educated guesses.

PG04,
If it shakes out as you claim, I'd say you're probably right.  I could see Alfred and Curry being switched at 7 & 8 and then Alfred playing Union and Dickenson playing Springfield, but who really knows.  I'd just be happy if your predictions were correct and Alfred got a bid.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

In that scenario, I think It'd be hard to leave Alfred out if they beat both IC and SJF in consecutive weeks and their losses being to two playoff teams.
