In that scenario, I think It'd be hard to leave Alfred out if they beat both IC and SJF in consecutive weeks and their losses being to two playoff teams.

Reading all of this you'd think Fisher was the one trying to play the role of spoiler & not Alfred ...   8)

AU fans, I don't want to hear anymore about a "lack of respect"... I think the pendulum has swung.

I definitely do not think Fisher is trying to play spoiler.  I still think Fisher is the favorite until Alfred proves otherwise....That being said, I DO think they will prove otherwise!

Hey, I got what I asked for six weeks ago.  I just wanted this game to still matter for Alfred's season.  Now it needs to be settled on the field.  It is weird how quiet the boards have been this week.  It's almost as if the Fisher fans never came back from the bye.  Or maybe it's just the Veteran's Day weekend got started early.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

Ah port, you poor misguided soul...

In the end, I believe that this game will be very close and the winner deserves to be in the playoffs.

It's definitely been slow this week.

boobyhasgameyo

Well Port if Fisher wins how do you see the playoff seedings?

boobyhasgameyo

P.S. I won't be on myself for long, and yes it has been slow

Everyone getting ready for the big weekend!

I already mentioned what I think will happen... This is what NCAA probably wants to happen:

Cortland beats Ithaca, Union wins, Wilkes wins, Springfield wins, Fisher wins, Rowan wins, Hobart wins, Union Wins and thus we should have something like this--- much easier to pick:

1. Wilkes (A)
2. Springfield (A)
3. Union (A)
4. SJF (C)
5. Hobart (C)
6. Rowan (A)
7. Cortland (C)
8.  NEFC (A)

So we'd finally get to see Cortland's D vs. Springfield.

I'd set the over/under at 29.5.

pretty good number

It'd be funny if there was an offensive explosion and it ended 55-52.

Yeah that'd be real f***in' funny.

Wow, take it easy tiger.

Just found out that I am going to miss the Cortaca radio broadcast and keep up via text message updates from one maxpower.  I got tickets for the Ol' Ballcoach's return to the Swamp.  Lookin' forward to watching the Cock and Fire play in the place the Fun n' Gun made the man a legend.

More updates... when was the last time each of us were able to follow the same game?

I know. I have had a crazy travel schedule this fall which is only getting crazier with a trip to Atlanta for National er SEC Title game and then the potential for UF to be in that other National Title game.

Since everyone has vanished, here is a topic of discussion to take us into gametime Saterday:

Justin Kulp (pictured in my signature) has just 31 touches this year that have resulted in 9 TDs.  That is ridiculous.  That is a good batting average much less touchdown mark.  What is more remarkable is 7 of those TDs have come in the last 4 games.

I think there is no question who our starting tailback is going to be coming into camp next fall.

AU PEP BAND, I'll be attending my first home game this season (SLU was alot closer).  Will you save me my favorite seat near the press box?  I'm looking forward to seeing both my boys and hopefully the same results as last year's AU-Fisher game.
