Pats final projections....

Wilkes Bracket
1. Wilkes (A)
2. Springfield (A)
3. St. John Fisher (C)
4. Hobart (C)
5. Union (A)
6. Rowan (A)
7. Dickinson (A)
8. Curry (A)
Hobart and Union are conference rivals, who do not need to meet in the first round as long as the NCAA's "geographic proximity" is maintained. Curry plays at Wilkes, Dickinson at Springfield, Union at St. John Fisher and Rowan at Hobart. Dickinson moves over because ... alas ... we do not project Cortland State to be in the bracket. More on those decisions later.

I think pat meant to flip Rowan and Union!

Actually he probably meant that Union is the 5th seed, but because of conference rivals do not play each other, the 4 will play 6 and 3 plays 5

Then what the heck is the sense of having them 5th instead of 6th?

Just a way of showing how they think the teams actually would be seeded based on strength.... THe South has had 6 vs. 7 or something like that before just to avoid a flight or conference rematch

Gay...

This is why I hate the NCAA....

Pat Coleman

Yeah -- you would have us deny Union the No. 5 seed so we can juggle the pairings? No thanks. What if Union and Rowan advanced and met each other? Then in your world the wrong team hosts.

You know Cortland, and Hobart, and

UW-LaCrosse, and St. Johns,

Capital, and Franklin, and

Hardin-Simmons and Wheaton

But do you recall

The most famous team of all

Fisher, the gold-helmet football team

had a very shiny helmet

and if you ever saw it

you would even say it glows.

All of the other football teams

used to laugh and call him names

They never let poor Fisher

play in any NCAA games.

Then one foggy November eve

Pat Coleman came to say:

"Fisher with your Helmet so bright,

won't you guide my bracket tonight?"

Then all the other teams loved him

as they shouted out with glee,

Fisher the gold-helmet football team,

you'll go down in stagg bowl history!

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

It's not about hurt at this point....we have "banked" a pretty incredible experience with The BOMBERS in d3 (not sure the team is on board yet).....but now...it's about respect.....I think the Cardinals have the tools...balanced on offense and defense.......easily the best team we faced this year....

and as for superman57.....maybe, just maybe....he becomes the objective Fisher guy in the post season....never know!

        EMPIRE 8 in the NCAA's......
"We bust ours so we can beat yours..."

boobyhasgameyo

I object, I am the objective Fisher guy lol

BobNapoleone

FDC was again HUGE at the game......some "FDC wannabes" were quelled quickly...nice job!

As to the game....Cortland Congrats...well played and good luck in the playoffs.

Bombers....one and all...what a ride..the last four years have been amazing....
the "feelings" after yesterday will come to be replaced by a lot of pride...and a feeling of belonging to one of the most successful Institutions in the nation...in the classroom as well as on the field...

The Bomber family grows every year.....

                   "Simply the best..........."

          BOMBER Football...reloadin' for 2007.....!!!!!
