If there is one phrase that i think drives most of us nits on this board is RESPECT.

Stop your innane bitching and be glad that you have a great team.

I second that motion.

you guys talk all year about what SC can't do i make one comment and everyone is up in arms, and no i wont stop my "innane bitching," so deal with it.  FA91 and tags im pretty sick of you two acting like you know anything about SC so quit it.

Union did have a good number of turnovers last year against Rowan. However, Rowan's defense was very good and the game was played in a blizzard.

Union still was in the game throughout despite the turnovers and it was a close and exciting game.

St. John Fisher's defense this season isn't as good as Rowan's last year. I suspect this game will be a shootout with the final score in the 30s or 40s.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Think Rowan will really put up 30 or 40 vs. the Fisher D???

Edit: A healthy Fisher D

Quit whining about respect then. Everyone on here respects you... The catch is that you are extremely beatable also... so "deal" with the questions.

What questions are those?

"Is Springfield the real deal."

"Is Chris Sharpe really a quarterback."

"Has the SC defense ever seen a football before."

"Why did SC lose so freakin' easily to IC."

"Is Andrew Jackson related to the former president that carries his name."

To name just a few.

Thanks Max ... I didn't want to list them all.

Be prepared for a fiery response from the grad - he's touchy.

Andrew Jackson, as far as i know, claims no blood relation to President Jackson. Yes Sharpe is a quarterback as he is the only one who has thrown the ball this year (albeit on a few times) And yes springfield D has seen a football they just can't tackle very well. Lastly SC played horrendously (1 for 5 in the redzone) IC played superb, and my personal feeling are that SC needed a reality check before the NCAA's started. As to teh question Are they the real deal, i guess will find out soon enough

there is my fiery response, cause i am so very touchy

I didn't say Rowan would score 30 - 40 points on Fisher's defense. Last year's team could have with Sakeen Wright, Phil Silva and Ulysess Encarnacion.

What I meant was that I think Union's offense can score 30 to 40 points against St. John Fisher. But, Union's defense isn't that great and I think the Fisher offense can do the same thing. I liken this game much to Springfield-St. John Fisher. Whoever's defense can step up and make the big plays will win. But I easily think this will be a shootout given the offenses involved. Union has a slight offensive edge because Angiletta and Twitchell are better than Nowicki and Jackson. Arcidiacano and Robinson almost cancel each other out because they're both extremely good.

Understood...

I agree that the fisher/Union game will be a shootout, however, I was pretty happy to see Union below Fisher's name in the bracket, rather than Rowan

I think Fisher has a real good chance this weekend
GO FISHER!!!

I agree... I didn't want Rowan in the first round either.
