union has a very formidable offense, led by their rb arciacadano (or somehting like that). they have 2 stud wrs (one that missed the first few games of the season Angiletta) and their qb is good. i feel that he can be streaky at times. they have good size on both fronts (probably an even matchup in terms of size) but i think their defense is the question. i think there's a considerable speed differential between the fisher "o" and union "d".  i think both defenses will be tested by high power offenses and whoever has the better d on saturday will win - i think fisher wins by at least 10 points.

After a few days of working on the house Im back to chime in on all this bashing of Coach V. at SJF. 

You do realize that its not his call on the Robinson situation, dont you?  If you want to bash someone please direct it towards the people responsible.  Vos gives his assistants those responsibilities.

Im one of the more critical guys on here, especially about SJF, but the coaches this year are doing the right things in the right situations.  How can some of you guys cry about Robby's carries when they are 9-1 and Robby has 1200yds and 16 tds and is averaging over 6.5 yds a carry.

Seriously maybe they are saving him for the playoffs?  You guys remember what he did in 2004?  He had close to 500yds and 5 tds in 2 games.  Im betting you'll be seeing the 30plus carry game this week vs an explosive Union team. 

Vos has done nothing wrong in this situation.

Posistion coaches and Offensive cordinators have have the say on playing time...

thats absurd upstate....he's the friggin head coach and if he wants a guy in there, the guy gets in there, period. i understand your thinking on coordinators calling the shots but in the end, the head coach is the boss.  i could say more but i don't think i have to at this point.

Im not saying he doesnt have the power to say who plays and who doesnt.  Im sure if the team wasnt playing well he would say so and so needs to get the ball more.  I am saying that he gives the cordinators and position coaches that authority so why bash the head coach if what they have been doing so far has been successful.

Have you played for SJF or been around the team to know what goes on there?  If you havent, which I doubt you have in the first place, I dont think i have to say more....

I know they run a 3-4, and some of the Union faithful say its a bland 3-4.  SJF will tear it apart if Union doesnt do something crazy.  SJF's O-line averages 285lbs and Union's D has one player above 250lbs, also the athleticism of SJF's O-line wont be effected by Union's smaller players (in case anyone uses that the smaller guys can run around the bigger guys line).  

SJF will use their outside zone a ton this week and look for robby to find the cutback lanes if Union stays in the 3-4....
