Yes they have. Which leads to the next question... Why don't they do this every time??? Then they are both on the field. You get Reile's speed when you get it to him in the flat, and you get Robinson out of the backfield.

Okay, I'm not sure where to bitch about this, but since this is my "home base", I figured I'd do it here.

More pure? Come on, Adam. Just because DIII athletes don't get scholarships doesn't mean they play "for the love of the game" any more than their DI counterparts. THere are certainly a few bad apples in DI that only care about glory, but there are plenty of those in DIII as well.

And jumping to the NFL after sophomore year.... is there ANY argument against that? An argument against making millions (or at least six figures) of money against maybe getting hurt at college? Give me a break.

I'm really sick of the "holier than thou" attitude of DIII. By the same token, I'm sick of the "DIII sports suck" attitude of DI. Dammit.

I'd somewhat agree. There are a lot of DIII athletes getting tuition help to play... so some aren't playing simply because they love the game. On the other hand, I would say you'd find a lot more DIII athletes playing just b/c they enjoy the game in comparison to DI - so in that regard I suppose you could make some type of comment like that.

That said, I don't blame anyone for jumping to the professional level to cash in on their abilities. I know if GE called me to be a CFO I'm gone from my current job  8)
