My take on the SC SJF game this week is that SJF is the most well rounded team in the East after that dismantling of Union.  SC will have to play its best game of the season to pull it out.  I'd rather see them play anyone other than the cardinals.  However, D makes a couple stops and Chris Sharpe pulls a superman.

Good Post.  I however will refrain from making any predictions on the Fisher game as I have picked against them 2 straight times and they have blown out the opposition....

Jose, are you going to Gators-Noles?

Just scanned the board. Seems like some of the friendliness was lost when as the season wears on.  Interesting to see where we go from here.

Maxwell- Not going to UF-FSU this fall. I am going to Dallas Wednesday night for Bucs-Boys on Thanksgiving.  Look for JoseQViper sporting his brand new Orange Alvin Harper Buccaneer jersey and sitting with JoseQViper Sr. wearing his Orange Lee Roy Selmon jersey.  Happy Thanksgiving boys, I might check back in after another Saterday installment.

No matter who wins the Fisher / SC game at least an E8 team will make it to the East finals and I believe either team has a great chance to beat either Wilkes or Rowan..... It's that silly Mount Union team that I am not sure about just yet.

fisheralum91

Agreed!
Winner still puts a guality team against Wilkes or Rowan.
Both beatable teams.

Depends on D!

It will be the E8's second trip to the Regional Final in the league's first five seasons (2002-2006).  IC went to the Regional Final in 2003.  (IC also went in 2001 but, that was before the E8).  I cannot remember if the E8 had its auto bid in 2002.  It could be two regional finalists in just four years with an auto bid.

Gro's succession of loyaty goes RPI-->LL-->NY so let's go Fisher!

having never lost to SJF kinda helps, sorry, had to put one dig in there

be fair RT, remember RPI got "lucky" and scored twice early... although that argument never works when gro tries to explain the 99 loss to Rowan (same situation, down 14-0 early).

One good thing came out of the RPI/IC blizzard bowl of '03. After the game it was rumored that Shirley and Peggy had GIRLS NIGHT OUT

The funny thing about this picture is that here was what actually happened...

Shirley's Personal PR person:  'On 3, you will run out of your heated tent, yell 'ARGHHHH!!!', I will snap a shot of you, and then you can return to your warmth and safety.  Ready?  1.....2.....3!!!!'

'gro

Sorry for the non E8 chatter but it applies to Ms. Jackson (ooooh!!)

funny thing about Shirley... she would get driven around campus in that caddy.... her office was in the troy building, and she would get a RIDE to the fitness center (half a mile?) to workout on the treadmill for 10min.

I agree the winner of this game will have a date with Mt. Union....SC and SJF pose challenges to anyone they face, even if it is Mt.  Union.  I'm rooting for Rowan tho because if wilkes win and SC wins then the game will be on grass, IF Rowan does, then on turf and obviously will help our cause.
