When in doubt, go to an old standby and bash Windbag.

alum91,

from my research, i think the first year of  D3 play for Fisher was in 1991.  They were 0-9 that season including a 71-0 loss to cortland.  We've definately come a long way since then...

Feel like I've been away forever...

Congrats to both Fisher and Springfield and Alfred....what a game this Saturday....!!!!!!

Reading about schemes and blueprints for stopping Sharpe.....I'm not sure what SJF tried last time, but it seemed like we had some success at IC by closing off the corners.....the LB's played a great game getting upfield and disrupting things..and he got popped on every play...with or without the ball.....

This should be a "classic"....good luck boys! Wish you two were pounding on somebody besides each other...

realistic,

Robinson is very involved in the community and also has a 3.6 cumulative GPA.  He has been on the academic all american team for three straight years i do believe...

Heck with Robinson and Sharpe, how is Reille not a finalist?  I mean, the kid is involved in the community, hopes to teach elementary ed, helps little old ladies across the street, protects baby squirrels from being clubbed, single handedly cleaned up the Exxon Valdez oil spill...etc.

How did I miss this??? Jose is still out there.....

Well that's exactly what SJF def. didnt do:  close off the corners.  The backers were no where to be found at the edge.  They were either frozen by Sharpe's incredible ball fakes to the FB (also incredible fakes by the FB himself) or they were getting 'washed out' trying to pursue to the edge.  Either way, Sharpe tore off yard after yard at will.  Must make adjustments and force turnovers somehow.

looks like the LL caught up with reading the weekend war between me and Red Tackle (RT) and blasted my already non-existing K

Scalice (#51) and Sharpe "danced" all day.....Lang may have to "re-introduce" himself.....

According to their media guide, Fisher was in their 20th year at D3 play this year, starting in 1986. Cortland and Fisher played in 1988, getting thumped 48-10 by the Red Dragons.

I stray Mr. N but I will always resurface when an opening to make fun of windbag emerges.

The E8 Hoops board is still pretty cold so I will float in and out for a while.

Although, JoseQViper heads to Dallas tomorrow night for Bucs-Boys.  Look for the Orange, #80 Alvin Harper Buccaneers jersey in the crowd.

fan of d3

I think another key to the game will be who gets the ball first... If SC gets the ball and marches down and scores like they have done all season it will be good for them, playing from behind is not something they're used to doing and not something I want to see start now
