No really Rowantexan===go to Oswego and wait for us......

Moron

Well fisher boy I guess you can't even understand sarcasm- moron.

You haven't seen team speed like Rowan playing in the "easy 8".

Interesting quote from the Springfield (Mass.) Republican today by Coach Vosburgh:

"Our players rose above some coaching mistakes," said winning mentor Paul Vosburgh. "We didn't control the clock the way we should have in the fourth quarter."

RowanTexan

Scary thing is that Rowan hasn't even played a good game yet in the playoffs yet is still beating thier opponents.  And on turf, well, that will also help us out big time!

Scary thing is Fisher has been dismantling teams all season long and are still beating their opponents as well.  And on turf, well, that will also help us out big time!

RowanTexan

should make for a good game then huh booby?  Or are you predicting another SJF blowout?

CK

boobyhasgameyo

I'm not predicting another blowout, I think it will be a really good game.  Just you coming on here saying how Fisher hasn't seen team speed like yours or how you guys are managing to win despite not playing well implying that the rest of the East is lesser competition and by the same implication Fisher will fall victim to this trend as well... We will find out soon enough which trend will continue

I think the student section needs to be 3-4 hundred strong and then we need the rest of the community to realize how big this is...

Obviously the bigger the crowd the bigger the advantage for the home team.

I only hope that the Fisher community steps up to the challange. I would love to see the school get involved in actively recruiting fans to the big game. Some very basic advertising (posters and such) on campus should bring in the students. And, perhaps a newsletter to alumni or something to encourage the Fisher Fan base to show up in record numbers...This is as big a game as Fisher has ever seen, why not treat it that way?
GO FISHER!!!

boobyhasgameyo

I will say this however if you wish to win you must score at least 28 because I don't think your highly touted defense will be able to hold Fisher to under 21 (even if you hold them to 21 consider that a great feat in and of itself)

It should all start here on the board...Where the interest is the highest. I officially invite everyone on the board to the game. Please. Come and cheer on Fisher and the E8
GO FISHER!!!

Talk about a weird quote.  Can't help but wonder if Vosburgh can handle the kind of talent he has on that team.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

I'll do my best to be there and represent Ithaca and the FDC!

sweet, love it when Ithaca guys stop over.  Seriously these boards are lonely without you guys.... hell even all of you AU people, god bless you and your extensive vocabularies

The Truth 00

what a great game yesterday....congrats to both teams. i've been off the boards for a while but here's a few thoughts:

- what a great crowd for fisher. they were loud and into it the whole game. i think they provided an uplift to fisher. unfortunately, the sc crowd was pretty weak...
- hats off to the fisher d. containing a gamebreaker like sharpe is no easy task. i don't think they made many adjustments from their previous game, i just think the coaches probably focused on tackling better and getting 11 hats to the ball.
- robinson was good at usual
- rob kramer has an effin hose of an arm...he didn't make many bad throws all day. he doesn't take too many chances and he took a couple of big hits while scrambling but got back up.  he is certainly more athletic than he looks.
- the d-line for fisher didn't get pushed around like last time. also, gene lang was everywhere yesterday.

The toyota turning point of the game: the jackson fumble at the goalline in the 2nd quarter. that really hurt us.

this rowan/fisher matchup is very interesting. rowan will be faster than any team fisher has seen. with that being said, i expect fisher to take advantage of being the more disciplined team. rowan will be talking a lot of trash but fisher needs to do that talking with the pads (i know that was corny but its THE TRUTH). and from what i've read, i don't think rowan has had its "best" offensive output of the season but....who says its going to happen now against a stingy fisher defense.

best of luck to fisher next week and congrats to springfield on one hell of a season. going from 4-6 to 10-2 and an empire 8 championship is quite an accomplishment.  time to hit the road recruiting.

tags - i didn't get a chance to catch up on all of these pages of posts but one thing i wanted to say was this: if you chose to skip the wedding and attend the game, fisher would have lost. that's how those types of deals work out. good decision!

do you think it will be a game where Rowan leads throughout or continuing their current path of come from behind victories?
