Wow I have spent the past 2 days on the LL board and I have returned -13k and all....

And we enjoyed hosting you....the LL has an open-door policy for all those who wish to philosophize in the 3rd person and debate the finer points of life (and football).

for those of you not attending the game in person, RT encourages you to catch the d3football.com webcast of the game. RT will be sure to provide thorough and insightful color commentary....he may even say some nice things about Fisher

who is fishers quarterback and running back?

CK

Asking who Fisher's Running back is is almost completely stupid....He's pretty good!

SJF uses a RB?? RT thought that they had a 5 wide spread offense w/ an empty backfield???

Fisher used to have a RB that carried 30 times a game...

Not sure whatever happened to him 8)

I believe you are talking about Jason Myers...He was the RB when I was in school. He was unreal. I remember my senior year against U of R he had 385 yards rushing and something like 5 touchdowns. I don't know what ever happened to him. I heard a rumor he was drafted in the CFL, but I doubt it is true.

Mark Robinson is real good as well. It is an interesting debate to see who people think is/was the better back.
GO FISHER!!!

Robinson by far....Meyers got a lot more carries on an offense that he was the only player....Robinson does not get as many carries and yet already has the school record for rushing

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I tend to agree that Robinson is a better back overall, but I think the argument that Myers got more carries in an offense where he was the only player, shows how good Myers was. He was the only player on that offense, and every team had a game plan to stop him and make Fisher throw the ball (something they did not do all that well back then). Despite all of the gameplans to stop him he still got ton of yards and carried the offense.

GO FISHER!!!

I never even heard of Myers...did he play against RPI? I remember 2 RB's from my era when we played SJF....Morris Johnson (nasty) and Matt Piccone (also nasty). Both those guys got pretty bad injuries from what I recall...

Robinson had the exact same situation in 2004 - Every team had their gameplan to stop him too and he still set a single season rushing record for Fisher.

he didn't play against RPI in the bowl game last year. He graduated in 04. I do remember him playing against RPI my senior year. He had 90-100 yards against RPI on about 25 carries.

RT I don't think you were in the same era as Myers.
