Will be driving up from Rowan Friday around noon.  Staying at the Doubletree.  Been a Prof's fan for 25+ years.  What time do the tickets go on sale on Saturday and from what location?

I had bi-lateral knee replacements 2 years ago......I set off metal detectors in the airport.  Would really appreciate a seat somewhere in the bleachers.

I will be wearing a 30 year old Glassboro State (with ROWAN) wool stadium coat that is Brown and Gold (more like yellow in the lettering). Coat has been to 5 Stagg Bowls (we didn't win any) and two trips to Alliance.....we are 1 & 1 at Mount Union.

Just hope and pray no players, coaches, fans or Senior Citizens get hurt.

Hope you people are friendly.  The only bad fans are and have been for years is Montclair in New Jersey.

Should be a good tough game between two good teams.  Your team is big, fast,
have home field advantage, will have a large home crowd and playing on your field.

We are smaller, slower, have been winning too many games in the last few minutes of
games this year, and cold damp weather is not good for us older types to cheer.

The only thing you have to worry about is if the Stuffed Fat Chicken shows up for the game.  If that happens the scales will be tipped in our favor.  The Stuffed Fat Chicken has been at all homes games for about 3 years.  We never lost a home game when the SFC cheers at the games.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Okay, look, this is going to sound really mean and mean-spirited, and maybe it is, so feel free to take shots at my karma one and all, but I really really really really hate your posts. Have you ever posted without mentioning:

1) How old you are, or how long you've been a Profs fan, which provides a pretty nice window to how old you are.

2) How many different health problems you've had (at least this time you refrained from gloating about all your bull**** lawsuits therefrom).

3) How much better Rowan Football is than everything ever invented, including message boards, football, and hospitals.

4) Too many words about nothing.

5) Some bullsh*t human interest crap that is supposed to bring a tear to our (what you obviously perceive to be) stupid idiot eyes, whether it be your mother, your daughters, your health, or this stuffed fat chicken crap that I'm not going to bite on.

And I love, LOVE this part:

I'm sorry... are you trying to portray ROWAN as the David in some sort of David vs. Goliath thing here? M*****F****** ROWAN?!?! The same Rowan that has been to FIVE Stagg Bowls, won ONE game against Mount Union, been the self-proclaimed BEAST OF THE EAST for years, lost by a sh*tload to Montclair State this year so you blame it on the refs and fans and also singlehandedly cured polio AND AIDS?! (Oh, sorry, wasn't supposed to leak that yet.)

AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH*pop*

I think in the past growney has not played a role...but for fisher this is history and basically people are saying if you don't go to this game then you need to transfer to naz...so I think this could be the loudest growney has EVER BEEN
SJF fans, while they support well in numbers at home and even better (relatively speaking) on the road, are often eerily quiet.  In the second half of Union game, the crowd was silent...perhaps because of the score...but it was a playoff win...?

On the other hand, if you were at the IC game this year, the first 7 minutes of the second half, if you had your eyes closed and ears open you coulda guessed you were at Rich Stadium in its hay day.

No doubt (unless weather is absolutely attrocious), there will be 4-5000 in numbers at the game....just hope that the noise comes along for the ride!

superman57

as I have stated before the students were embaressed by the Ithaca game..we got bored against union and everyone just started to talk...if the game is close it will be loud

Obviously you guys are going to make it to the game, but I truly hope that a lot of the students, alumns in the area, locals, etc. get involved in this game.  In my opinion there aren't a whole lot of things better than Playoff College Football....since we only have it in D-IAA, D-II and D-III we should really be thankful.  I hope you all enjoy the game, because you don't know when the next one is coming.  Some of my best sporting memories are of D-III playoff games......end sentimental rant.

Also - did anyone check Austin Murphy's "Why I Love Football" article in this weeks SI, it is worth a read if you haven't caught it yet.  St. Johns reference and a pic from a Colby/ (someone I forgot) game.

SJF usually draws a pretty diverse crowd of students, alot of alum/former players, area H.S. kids and coaches...

The more profs_fan posts that I read, the more I think he's 3 Rowan upperclassmen who sit around drinking and character acting as a 60 year old, slightly crippled, senile alum who is obsessed with the football team.  And after penning a few gems they sit down and work them into an inane post which we take at face value.  Then they nearly piss themselves as we are all respond with incredulous replies.  Profs_fan is either someone completely out of touch with reality or some very funny and creative kids.  I mean doesn't a Stuffed Fat Chicken sound like an idea that a couple drunken frat boys thought up while skipping Writing 201?
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

profs fans what's up?  I see it as follows:

Rowan 21 or 28

is it a NJAC thing, where you have to end every post with a "________ it"?

Just wondering.....but even so, I'll take xdragons "taste it" over bank it.
