Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to root for a team that never loses!

It would be like being, well, a Florid Gator...

pg04

All of my favorite teams from HS up to the pros never seem to win anymore  :D

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

should be an interesting week of Chatter.  Semifinal week always breeds some discussion.

Come a day early and spend some time there.  Tough to go on Saturday before the game since the game will be at Noon.

Sorry I missed you guys AU & Kaz - Was hoping to see you.

Gosh, you could spot us a mile away. We were the (only) ones wearing Alfred gear. A pleasure to meet SJFF82 in the Park & Ride (now there's something they don't have in Mayberry)...    also stopped at Fairport Hots for a garbage plate. Good stuff.

Congrats to Fisher on a well-played game! Guess you won't need to wait 'til '08 to play the Purple Raiders. Go Fisher! Go Empire 8!

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

As an NJAC supporter and a Montclair fan ;

Congratulations on your victory over Rowan. I never would have expected the score. We beat them in OT, but you guys smoked them. Good luck in Alliance and represent the East well. Fisher deserves it.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Gongrats to the players and coaches on taking the next step.  Hopefully this keeps the section 5 kids rolling into the program.  Also looking at their roster, not one Freshman is on the Varsity roster.  Thats got to be a first for SJF in a very long time.

BTW check out the daily dose for my prediction of the score:

SJF 31 Rowan 20

At least I got the SJF score right.

I never would of thought they would of put up the ZERO today.  Great effort by the Defensive guys and coaches.  Great job on 3rd and short today.  Seemed like every 3rd and short resulted in a negative run.

See everyone in Ohio next Saterday!

skunks_sidekick

Congrats to SJF.  It looks like they are playing quite well, and clicking on all cylinders.  On the other hand, Mount is struggling right now, and I would guess that SJF will be the favorite going into this week.

Or NOT!   ;)

Seriously, if Mount doesn't find its passing game, an upset could be in the making.

See you guys around PP this week.

SJF holds Rowan to 120yds of offense (31 rushing/89 passing) and ended up putting 175 on the ground vs a team that only allowed 50yds a game.

Too much balance on O as they pass for 160 and rush for 175, convert 8 of 16 on 3rd down and hold the ball for 36 minutes.

Defense comes away with 5 sacks and 3 turnovers.

SJF needs to take the air out of the ball this week, and hold the ball as long as possible to keep their RB and WR off of the field.

Will be a tough task as MUC is holding their opposition to 0.9 yards per carry.  A far cry from the 6yrs per carry SJF is averaging.

Fly, we have an airport (CAK is the code) and you drive right by the PRO FOOTBALL HOF on your way to the stadium from the airport. The HOF is an all day affair to see it right, so you might want to plan on a 2 day trip. Hotels are halfway between the HOF and the airport anyways( 5 minute drive) so come and enjoy your weekend.

superman57

you know after today I think anything is icing on the cake... Fisher is having their best season ever and quite possibly the best season ever by an E8 team... I think MUC is definatly the faviorite...but Fisher has been the underdogs for a while.... If MUC continues to struggle fisher could smell blood..but I think MUC will pull it off. two much experiance too much talent

The only thing MUC is struggling with is penalties. The passing game is dependant on the wind mostly, and the running game is dependant on the oppositions defense...but it will be present. We can, and will, run anybody in an elidgible position Thats alot to prepare for, and thats what we are counting on too! Good luck guys.
