Yep, that group is getting on my nerves too.

I'm willing to take a bullet on this one -- I posted a thesis about rooting for your team in the playoffs in the DD.

I just joined the Dose after reading it for a while because it's getting badddddddddddddddddddd.  So many new fans, and they are all saying the dumbest things about lack of respect or how we will just put it to Mount Union.

I suggest that they all be dignified simply because they may never get this Chance again.  How often does a non-Rowan team get to the Final 4?  Not very --- I suggest just enjoying the ride!

For those making the trip to Alliance and doing so on Friday, you might want to check into visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame in nearby Canton.  It's only about 20 minutes due west of Alliance.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

man- old DD was getting too much!
glad frank made the change- some of that stuff was weak!

Well- another week to talk about!
Man- glad that is the case.

Not to blow this up too much- but even the Utica OD had 2 articles  - one on Sunday and a small one on Monday about the Fisher win.  For obvious reasons ( the CNY connections esp Kramer and Reile) but Fisher only gets press in utica when they play UC----GREAT to see them in my local paper!!

fisheralum91

oh- morning shift punching in!

fisheralum91

where is the chatter---besides my teeth from sat!

Congrats to SJF and from an RU Fan, wishing you a great game against MUC. If you play the way you did against RU, you should come out on top.

Happy Holidays to all!
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

If you do ANYTHING, give it your EVERYTHING!

Okay, I just finished reading all the posts from Saturday until now.  It was nice getting up to Fisher with a small contigent of the Pep Band.  We even played the Fight Song on kazoo after the first two TDs!  I would have preferred a closer game, but at least the right team came out on top.  So, here are my grades of the entire experience:

Growney Stadium: 7
View from Growney: 2
Concessions: 6
Crowd noise: 4
Weather: 5
The game overall: 6
Garbage plate at Fairport Hots: 8

AUPB and I spent most of the game trying to compare the Rowan team to this year's Saxons.  The Rowan defense was much better than Alfred, however Robinson still wore them out by the end (as opposed to the end of the first half against us).  The Rowan offense was terrible and really was the reason that the game was so lopsidded.  Alfred's offense definitely was more dynamic than Rowan's even with Keeley off his game and open receivers dropping passes.  The end result was the same in either case - Fisher by 4 scores.

Good Luck in Alliance on Saterday!  Keep doing the E8 proud.

kazoo- where did you sit?

The stadium is great- needs to be finished though- bigger concessions, br's etc, but what a great place to see a game!

I had no idea it was so close to the res halls!!!!!

We sat just to the left of the molded seats (if facing the field) about a half dozen rows from the top.  We sat behind a frosh who usually dresses for games and his family.  Played a couple "Let's go Fisher" chants after first downs during the first quarter and our fight song after the first two TDs.  Then we kinda lost interest in that.

The most glaring omission is the bathrooms (though that gives SJF the chance to adequately debate the urinal trough issue).  The food was good, but didn't compare to the garbage plate afterwards.  AUPB and I also debated the East Region top 10 on the ride home and I'll post my top 10 in a bit.

the molded seats were nice!
sat on the 45 and had a great view!
i was worried about the crowd at the begining of the game - but it filled in nicely after that!

Good luck again to St. John Fisher.  Just let it all hang out and play loose.  Too many teams stiffen up when they hit Alliance.  See Bridgewater 2003 66-0.

FYI.... The Hood is a great place for burgers and beer.  BW3 is a good place for wings and beer.  Ask the OAC room for address and other info.

Definitely hit the Pro Football HOF if you have time.
