To all SJF fans,

I haven't had a chance to remark on the game this weekend.  I was able to listen to most of the game, and I must say that I was pretty impressed with how SJF played.  They played a great game on offense, defense and special teams.  I can't even hint at the idea that Rowan shot themselves in the foot and blew the game.  SJF just played better!  I think that SJF has a very legit shot a taking down Mount Union.  Good luck next this Saturday.  I have a feeling that SJF will be represent the East in a respectable fashion.

+k. Even though you called me gay about 100 times this fall...

See PG - everyone can get along sooner or later  :)

Sorry I've been away since Thursday.  We drove 3.5 hours in the rain via the Pa. Turnpike, then a Rt. 81, New York through way, and a whole bunch of other pay roads.

Friday night (Saturday morning) we were woke up about 1:00 am by an alarm for a fire in the DoubleTree.  Someone who was attending a wedding on the 3rd floor (yeah right) ripped off a smoke dector off the wall in their room.  We had to leave the building.

Well anyway because I had informed the SJF bloggers of where we were  staying on Friday night, my law firm "Fleece-em, Cheat-Em and Steel" agreed Thursday night to monitor our Civil Rights as Senior Americans, and our Rights as Disabled Americians.

During the evacuations of the Hotel (including the Rowan football team, coaches and trainers) I tripped on ramp leading from the disabled elevator to the lobby and to exit the front door.

Would it be out of line if I were to flat out laugh at that?

Couple things...

1) who is making the trip this weekend...I am interested to see what kind of numbers will be making the trip.

2) how does everyone feel about the Fisher running game this weekend. I usually feel pretty good about the running game against anyone...but MUC is giving up something rediculous like .9 yards per carry, and no more than 55 yards to any one rusher all year...yikes
GO FISHER!!!

rowanlb92 was one of the best Rowan lb's to wear the uniform.  I have found that former players (all regions)  bring the lockerroom talk out on post patterns, but having played the game, they know who the better team is in the end.  The man knows the game... he can be intense while Rowan is still in the hunt.

I'd like to think that SJF is going to use quick hitters, traps and their inside zone plays to try to counter act the quickness of MUC's D-line.  They are not big but pretty quick im told.  The best way to attack a quick defensive front is to run north/south instead of east/west.

Robby is going to get his yards, this o-line is going to do what they've done all year long.  MUC is not going to totally shut out Robby.

I think the O-line got a very good test from Rowan's defense. They were also a little smaller but very quick and swarmed the ball. I think that they'll be able to create Robinson some good opportunities to get his yards. They key is how quick Mark is hitting the hole and how determined he's going to be running - I think we'll see an extremely tough Mark Robinson on Saturday.

Balance is the key. If Kramer makes wise decisions, even if he's just hitting Harmon, Reile, and Jackson on quick outs & curls all day it will create enough space for our running game. I guarantee we've never faced a defense like this & every yard will be earned - but I think we know that and we'll be prepared to stand there toe to toe and give it our best shot.

I think our defense is the key. They have a running game that parallels our own, and is their key to success as well. They have some big boys up front, and I'm anxious to see how we respond to such a challenge. I think we'll be ok.
