JT,

I agree...everyone checks it out.  I'm just saying that you have to keep your focus and if coaches need bulletin board material from D3.com to get their kids fired up their probably have other issues.

In response to posts about MUC's receivers....the reason they do not have a great many catches is that the running game has been so dominant.

Don't think for a minute that Jorris and Micheli can't kill you with the pass.  Wray is as fast as Garcon, and other receivers (Smith, Boehm, Ditz, Antonucci, and Davis) are quick as any that you have seen with very fine hands. All RB's out of backfield are difficult matchups for LB's
TE  (Antonucci) is very underratted  and reliable receiver ...

You will most lilkely see formations and patterns that you have not seen on film, and Kehres' staff is the best in preparation for oppopnent.

I think it will be a great game and hope all that come to Alliance have a safe trip, but do know that Mount has the ability to throw for 300 yards in a heartbeat...

Your passing attack may be the most important factor in the contest.  Mount's DB's press and play face to face all over the field, and they count on the D-line to pressure the QB...the short pass is the best attack against them, so if you are strong there it should be a good matchup

I hope Kramer and Robinson are as good as advertised, but the "D" will determine who wins this game...for either team

The most common comment from opponents after playing Mount is, "they look fast on film, but on the field they are the fastest team we have ever seen"...

Obviously, I am a die hard Mount fan, but would love to see a great game with your team and the Raiders playing their best...   and no matter the outcome I will cheer for the winner in the Stagg

good luck

This is probably bad news for Fisher because, IMO, Vosburgh is among the worst at preparation for an opponent.

kirasdad,

You're correct.  I was attempting to be brief and wrongly assumed that everyone knew that we were talking football and this site specifically.

Jose I'm behind you on this one - I completely agree with the questioning of coaching there. They have a ton of talent, and that makes up for a lot of bad coaching decisions.

MUC Guys...I think you are taking SJF fans talking about possible scenarios that have to happen for them to have a chance, as them thinking they can/will win.

I agree with the poll on the front...does SJF have a chance - YES, are they going to win - NO.

We know Mount is the BEST, the posts about why they are going to win are getting a little redundant.  Please just feel free to copy and paste the entire SJF roster.

You're right. Someone please get on the horn & tell the boys not to get on the bus Friday because MUC already won.

As a matter of fact, cancel all playoff games in 2007 going forward, as nobody will EVER beat MUC.

I think he gets too much credit.  Here are my big criticisms of him, just off the top of my head.

-Taking carries away from Robinson is criminal.  Reille simply isn't good enough to justify it.  Look what happened against IC.  Split carries in the first half, down 10-0.  Used Robinson in the second half, win 34-10.

-He is simply terrible at preparing for opponents.  There is absolutely no reason for SJF to be down 10 to this IC team at the half (and lets not forget that SJF was lucky it was only ten as IC blew a few other chances).  You cannot chalk it up to players being unmotivated (I mean, this was the game that determined Fisher's season the last few years) or travel (at Fisher).  It is simply a coach that came out and failed to put his players in a position to be sucessful.  Springfield is even more evident of this.  Why on earth, with that defense, did it take him two tries to figure out the SC offense.  Does a person even need to watch more than 5 minutes of tape to know what they are going to do?

-He never makes a good halftime adjustment.  (Caveat, he has done it once in all the time he has been there, so I suppose I should say he very rarely makes a good halftime adjustment).  If Fisher comes out playing poorly, they generally continue to play poorly after the half.

-How about playing Suchnya to start this season?  Who does he think he is, Bobby Bowden?  (For you yankees, Bobby Bowden always starts the year with his starter from the previous season, no matter who is behind him, unless said starter gets Lyme Disease).  Suchnya was terrible last year and, basically coast Fisher the IC game by himself.  Everyone but Vosburgh apparently had no trouble seeing Kramer was the better player.  What if he had stuck it out and Fisher had gotten beaten by UR?

-I guess you could say he is a good recruiter but, that may not even be true for two reasons.  First, a trained monkey could say "Hi [recruit], this is our lockerroom.  This over here is where you sign."  Also, the best player in school history just fell into his lap because IC showed no interest.  (We will always know ER and son secretly wished they were Bombers!).

That is enough for now....

fisheralum91

so that's what it comes down to-----Robinson not picking IC huh.....

Now i get it!!! :P

I was messing around because there was an article in the Rochester Newspaper today about Post Patterns and they claimed it was from www.d3.com.
