Superman...umm...uh...we beat UWW last year, remember? UWW hasn't changed much from last year so saying we won't have a chance is not the best thing to say. Hell, we haven't had to use our passing game.

these were not my comments these were a fellow MUC fans comments...but UWW is going to be ready for Nate...trust me....yes you beat them last year...BUT last year was last year and not this year...Last year the Steelers won the super bowl this year they aren't going to make the playoffs...so don't use the last year...take my comments a just that UWW is better than fisher..and more experianced and will show it...Nate will have a hard time doing the same thing he did today and plus the UWW offense should bea ble to do better then fishers's o did today

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Great effort by both teams today...SJF earned the respect of many many Mount fans today...Rarely does a team come into the stadium for the first time and play expecting to win as you did. A couple mistakes away from a big upset...or maybe not so big an upset as far as the Cards were concerned.
Your defense just got overworked in the 2nd half as the Mount monsters just continued to hammer away, but man did they make things tough..

My favorite opponent was #3 at linebacker...played a hell of a game and when I saw him ater the game he was a lot smaller than he played..what a tough kid with huge heart...Running back was a solid as advertised and the qb made a couple great plays under serious pressure...the "D" came to leave some bruises and I am sure they did..

Mount's passing game has disappeared and I fear that is an ominous sign going into Stagg. If Jorris does not get it together in the next week, I have serious concerns.  Mostly about having to comeback if WWW jumps out fast..

SJF fans were fun...sorry about seating arrangements....all seats are reserved in stadium and there was some confusion pregame with kids in wrong section, but the students were respectful and cooperative and made what could have been difficult an easy fix....usually the opponents get blocks of tickets and there should be no mixing of fans within specific sections.  I hope, as a Mount alum, that your experience was enjoyable and you were treated with class and respect.

Your coach verified at postgame that contract for MUC-SJF is done and teams will meet home-home, beginning at MUC in 2008.

MUC fans said we don't have a chance? I'm sure UWW will be ready for Nate but being ready and actually stopping him is another story. I use last year as a reference point because UWW didn't stop Nate last year either and as I said neither team has changed much. Should be an interesting title game.

Do you think Mount's D was too quick for your offense today?

the loss stings...Kmic is a beast....they just couldn't stop him....BUT!!!!!!! if the rest of the MUC offense does not get it together you will not stand a chance against UWW....you guys played great today both teams did but UWW is a whole nother beast to fisher....Looking forward to 08-09....and next year when we get you guys back!!!! For the most part you guys are class act fans...there were a few that we less than desired...and the whole ticket situation was ridciolus...but in the end...you need to make sure that MUC fans are not mixed in with the away teams fan...not fair for either team...though had a great convo with a MUC fan and his son...I'm still in alliance waiting for some friends to finish some stuff up so I should be here for a little while
I like our chances if Kmic runs for 371 even if we don't try a single pass.

I think that A) the d's penetration was incredible B) the play calling was not great...the MUC fan said that MUC will be hard pressed to win if the rest of the O does not come to play

I would question whether that person was a true Mount fan! We have the passing game if we need it....it's there in the corner, always ready when needed.

Was your play calling different than the rest of the year?

no but when you see that the long drops are not working and you are contiusaly 2nd and long 3rd and long you need better play calling

In case you didn't notice after the first quarter the MUC corners were jumping the routes early because they knew STJF didn't have the time to throw deep.  I think the coach did what he could.  If he had tried the short stuff more than he did I am pretty sure we would have picked off on or two and returned them for six.

The St. John Fisher RB was very very good.

Congratulations to SJF on a great season!  Your team made it interesting today.  A great game to watch. Speed and quickness kill and were the difference today.

You have a great team, and we were very impressed with your fan support.  You "travel well."  If the brackets are the same we'll see you next year.  If not, see you in 2008.  It will be great to open with a top notch competitor.

I asked this before and got no response, so I'll ask again.

CAn someone tell me about Springfield's offense? What formations they run, what type of plays, whether they run option or single wing or what...I'm very interested considering how successful they are without throwing the ball.

I think you might want to ask a question like this on another day.  Today is about St. John Fisher and their game against Mt. Union.  Let's give them that much respect.

Agreed...If a team has a running back that runs for 371 yards and does nothing else still has a high likelihood of winning...  This really convinced me that Kmic is the best running back in the nation right now (I argued this on the daily dose earlier in the week but now I really have more of an argument).

I clicked on the link on the D3football.com page but not getting anything. Suggestions?

pg04 is right - It's the game 2 link.

SAFETY following a Mt. Union fumble, SJF goes 3 and out, but the punter can't corral in the high snap (not punter's fault) -- ball goes out the back of the endzone:

SJF 7    MTU 9

~8 left in the 1st Half

Yeah, there was some issue with the ESPN.com people not coding the links correctly so we threw both of them up there with that note.
