Sorry for the unpleasant facts...

Y'all could have simply answered my very reasonable question (which I know you have to know the answer to, since they ran up 55 points on you), and none of this would have happened. But you had whine and moan about not getting respect because someone actually dared to post about someone other than St. John Fisher who fought so hard even though they still got stomped.

Don't you wish your boys could have posted 55 on us? Then maybe you could rant with facts.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he's a marietta fan...what a thing to hang his hat on.

Ha - Bye Spence.

Yeah...damn those national titles.

pg04

In what? We are talking football here.  You have no national titles in D3 football.

If you're a Fisher fan, neither do you.

I'm a fan of all Marietta sports, so when you say "A marietta fan...what a thing to hang your hat on" then that takes in all sports.

I propose that we completely ignore this clown.

pg04

I'm not, but what does bringing up national titles in OTHER SPORTS have to do with anything? You are grasping here...go away, your fellow OAC people don't even like you.

Ah let it go PG - none of his bs matters.

skunks_sidekick

This guy has been a consistent idiot wherever he posts.  He was all "Marrietta's QB Vrable is the best on the OAC".

He's that stinky, fungedup, cousin from the hills that you have to tolerate at the holidays.  No one likes him, and he always screws up a good party.

Haha -- Take him back to the OAC with you will ya!

I very rarely post on any OAC boards here. I haven't said anything about Vrable being the best QB in the OAC. I don't usually post on any non-baseball boards here and the OAC baseball board is inactive. I had a question about Springfield football because I'm an afficionado of the running game and particularly running with the QB.

Then I get all this attitude about breaking up the St. John Fisher lovefest.

As for mentioning titles in other sports...already asked and answered.

It wasn't attitude! Frank Rossi the Union announcer said to give focus on Fisher's day today because we can talk about Springfield later.  How is that attitude? Seriously go away....

He also said they deserve that much respect like my posting asking about someone else was somehow disrespect. That's where the attitude was.

Anyway, Springfield's offense is pretty obvious to anyone that actually reads the main page to this site...It has been featured more than a few times.

pg04

If you want your answer, here it is:

Springfield runs a triple option attack in which they almost never pass (only 1-2 times a game).  Chris Sharpe, their QB, runs a good majority of the time himself, while Andrew Jackson also got some carries.

Spence

OK that's great...I got all that from the stat sheet.

Now, what I asked was...what formations they run out of, what types of plays they like to run out of it.

In other words, I'm trying to get a feel for if it is more like 90s Nebraska, 80s Oklahoma, West Virginia, Arkansas's Wildcat series, Florida's offense, the zone read, Air Force, Navy...or something else. Sorry I don't read this site every day; not that I figure what I would want to know has been covered in a frontpage article anyway.
