There are a couple of Springfield posters on here but I don't know where they have been lately.  Fan of D3 and The Truth 00 I believe, so find one of their posts a while back and give them a personal message asking if you really want an in depth answer.  On here we will just tell you it is a two man show with Sharpe and Jackson and it's so effective because obviously it's deceptive and they run it to perfection....That's about it

OK let me make this real simple. Yes, no or numbers.

Do they use more than one formation?

If they use one formation, how many receivers does it have? how many tight ends? how many running backs?

Is the quarterback in the shotgun?

If they do use more than one formation, how many more?

How many receivers, backs, tight ends do those have?

How often does the quarterback run inside the tackle?

If this doesn't work, I give up.

Yeah we were 8-1-1 one year with a tie against John Carroll and a 41-37 loss to Mount and didn't get one.

Maybe if we played in a mediocre region we could slough around and get one despite not being all that good. I've never said Marietta should have gone to the playoffs though.

OK that's great...I got all that from the stat sheet.

Now, what I asked was...what formations they run out of, what types of plays they like to run out of it.

In other words, I'm trying to get a feel for if it is more like 90s Nebraska, 80s Oklahoma, West Virginia, Arkansas's Wildcat series, Florida's offense, the zone read, Air Force, Navy...or something else. Sorry I don't read this site every day; not that I figure what I would want to know has been covered in a frontpage article anyway.

Or any other option offense spence can look up on google within 45 seconds.

you need to stop bashing Fisher amigo, when was the last time Marietta went to the playoffs? Have they ever? Sure they might not win the conference because of Mount Union but there are pool C bids out there believe it or not

Take Pentello away from Cap and see what is left...He was the man in that program and Hauslers on D...we will see what Cap is made of with out Rocky....

I very rarely post on any OAC boards here. I haven't said anything about Vrable being the best QB in the OAC. I don't usually post on any non-baseball boards here and the OAC baseball board is inactive. I had a question about Springfield football because I'm an afficionado of the running game and particularly running with the QB.

Then I get all this attitude about breaking up the St. John Fisher lovefest.

As for mentioning titles in other sports...already asked and answered.

The second question doesn't apply if the first answer is no... read your own question....or even better, just go pleasure yourself over the springfield offense. 

Actually the second question does apply. It says "if they use one formation" not if they use more than one. You should read my question rather than just assuming you know what it's going to say. Reading is fundamental, not to mention fun. You should try it.

Some people can't handle facts. Despite whatever karma rating I might have anyone will tell you I'm one of the most knowledgeable people on D-III baseball on this site. I don't post nearly as much (hardly at all) on football or any other sport. If you're really interested in my karma and how it came to be what it is, I'm sure you can find out.

LOL ... I'm not better than everyone else, but I can answer a series of questions. Not my fault you can't. Give me a break. I ask one simple question, y'all act like it's a terrible affront, fumble around trying to answer it when apparently you didn't even pay attention to the actual question and give me a third-grade explanation, then when I try to take it down to the least common denominator you still screw it up.
