Wow,

I didn't get a chance to post after the game last night because I went to my company's Holiday Party.  Then come on here today to see 5+ pages of crap posted by Spence.

Anyway, great effort yesterday and it was an enjoyable game.  I like those close games much better than the blowouts.  You have a quality team and I can't wait to see you in '08, if not sooner if we meet again in the playoffs next year.

Congratulations on a Great Season!

Well, it was a great ride for Fisher and I think they can take a lot out of a loss to MUC. What a step in the right direction this season was...However, other posters are correct in saying next season has already started...

Who has What comming back for next year? I know Ithaca will be good as always...I am sure Fisher will have a strong team...I the Sharpe, the QB for SC, a junior or a senior this year?...How will Alfred look? Strong like the last 2 years?

Lots of questions to be answered over a long offseason...Any thoughts about next year out there?

GO FISHER!!!

How many seniors does SJF have starting?  Congratulations on a great season.

Obviously Spence has some serious issues to deal with. A good therapist may be the answer.

3 on offense: Robinson, their Center Sefcik and their Left Guard Drake
3 on Defense: LB-Lang, DT-Piz, DE-Maggio

Upstate, it sounds like they will be right back in the thick of things next year.  How about Springfield and Ithica, any idea?

I very rarely post on any OAC boards here. I haven't said anything about Vrable being the best QB in the OAC. I don't usually post on any non-baseball boards here and the OAC baseball board is inactive. I had a question about Springfield football because I'm an afficionado of the running game and particularly running with the QB.

Then I get all this attitude about breaking up the St. John Fisher lovefest.

As for mentioning titles in other sports...already asked and answered.
You seem to post enough to get a -38 karma.

Some people can't handle facts. Despite whatever karma rating I might have anyone will tell you I'm one of the most knowledgeable people on D-III baseball on this site. I don't post nearly as much (hardly at all) on football or any other sport. If you're really interested in my karma and how it came to be what it is, I'm sure you can find out.
It is obvious to me and everyone else on here how your Karma is now -47.  I guess being a jerk takes very little effort on your part.

ok first spence is an idiot that not even Rowan Texan can beat.... second again Nate Kmic is the best running back I have ever seen....and Fisher still kept it close...but POOR Pieri...that blocked kick was the end of the game fisher's they just seemed so deflated after that.... thrid heard that the contract was offically signed....MUC coach said good teams deserve to play good teams and so what...so see you guys in 08....when you have to come to the REAL JUNGLE and growney and I think if we see a match up next year or even if fisher makes another run Growney could see the first ever sell out

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Contract is not officially signed; however, Mount Union coach Larry Kehres said this game was going to happen.

I'm glad that Mount will be playing Fisher in the Regular Season...should be interesting!

As for Spence, I got into it with him more than others, and I wish I hadn't because he was just an antagonist. He did lose 17 karma points while here though!

Contract finalized
St. John Fisher athletic director Bob Ward confirmed that the Cardinals have completed a contract to play Mount Union in the 2008 and '09 season openers.
The 2008 contest will be in Alliance, Ohio, and the 2009 game in Pittsford.
"Good teams should play good teams," said Mount Union coach Larry Kehres. "We have a great amount of respect for what St. John Fisher College is doing. They ought to be commended.
"I don't think we can discount playing them in '07," he added, implying the potential for an NCAA Tournament rematch next season.

Excellent.

I didn't see the paperwork -- I only know what the spokesmen said yesterday. Perhaps they signed it before the bus left. :)

It's almost like they knew Fisher would make it to play them and waited to see how good and respectable they actually were!  Though out of region and will have really no bearing on playoff positioning, These will be more good games and provides a model of what out of conference scheduling should be!
