No, Alfred's only calzone shop, which, apparently, couldn't compete with Panda Chinese for the late-night crowd, which it traditionally specialized in. DP Dough is a small chain of calzone franchises exclusively in college towns, mostly in Northeast.

Alfred still has:
Collegiate Restaurant (diner style)
Old West (bar & grill)
Alfred Sub & Pizza Shop (self-explanatory)
Panda Chinese
Cafe Za (exquisite dining in a historic home)
Nana's Japanese Cafe (featuring bento lunch)
Terra Cotta Coffee House (coffee shop & sandwiches, etc.)
Little Sicily (pizza & Italian)
Subway (for those counting grams of fat)
Alex's (bar with great pizza)
Gentleman Jim's (bar featuring occasional disturbances outside along Mill Street)

AUPepBand has been asked where he'd like to go for his birthday lunch with library colleagues....still not sure.
