I will officially move that E8 Nation refers to UC as the "Mooseneers" from this moment forward.

Comments?

I would like to stop the motion... I didn't get a chance to have my 2 cents added... as a former PIONEER. I have no good idea why the mascot is a moose, I think it stinks, personally. I have a T-Shirt from freshman year as a football player with a Pioneer logo on the front that I think would be much better. As a UC alum and fan, I vote against calling Utica the "Mooseneers"... we just started football 6 years ago... we were Pioneers, dammit!

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

do I even need to say who is in the lead for the '06-'07 Cup?

I believe "What the hell is it?"  was the correct response.  I dont give to sheets about wether your softball team can beat AU's by 30 runs.  Nor do I care if the shaven swimteam can beat IC's.  You can take your commissioner's cup and put it right next to your sportsmanship award every year, cuz I dont want it.  I'm talkin football here.  Never from this point forward should I have to read anything that might involve women's sports at all.  Furthermore I hate the WNBA as much as I hate Celine Deon and Bill Walton, but thats a whole other topic.

Furthermore, if we're goin big 3, shouldn't it be SC, Fisher, and AU?  Seems to me that AU was 1-2 versus the big three.  Ithaca was 1-2 versus the REAL big three.  Tiebreaker-who won between AU/IC?  Dats right, AU.

Now that the pot's stirred, I'm off to lift.  I'll be back to receive any and all hate mail later.  I'm just starting to get my karma back from that post-AU/IC game up from the -15 that ensued.  So please be gentle, I'm still recovering.

you guys got IC one year not every year in my mind IC is still the team to beat...untill Fisher beats IC at IC then the tides will be turned

Ummm...

Fisher, Alfred, Utica, and Ithaca are members in every sport.

Hartwick is a member in every sport but soccer.

Naz, Elmira, and RIT are a member in every sport but football.

Stevens Tech will be in for hoop for sure, not sure what other sports.

Therefore, I would say everyone but Springfield, Norwich, and Stevens Tech have a shot at winning it.

Just off the top of my head SJF does not have; track & Field, gymnastics, cross country teams, crew teams, swimming/diving or wrestling.

Motions are not decided until 8 am the business day following the day in which they were proposed.

Your comments have been duly noted you Mooseman you.

Yeah, SJF is still 0-something at IC.  They need to get it done there this year and thats not going to be easy.....

I remember we were up like 13-0 at the half my senior year (first time IC was shut out at the half in YEARS) and we lost by 1.

theoriginalupstate

I for one think that that UC should just change their name due to the fact that I heard that the original pioneers of this country are ashamed to have their label associated with UC.....

Anyone with me?

Yeah, makes ya wonder why they took the points off of the board early (made a FG and IC had a penalty on the play) and tried to go for the TD....

Thats the cardinal rule of football IMO, you NEVER take points off of the board.  You never know what will happen....

I was watching the trailer for eragon and thought it looked good untill it said the song playing was by Avril Lavigne when the movie instantly went to trash...

I nominate Booby Miles for Vice Chairman...

Seriously I'm starting to love Mount Union posters.... He does bring up an interesting point, and if I'm given a little power maybe then I won't be so prone to revolt?

Would have been different if Robinson didn't get hurt early in the 2nd Qtr. He already had 60+ yards.
