I agree that the conference will more than likely have co-champs.  It is so easy for the good teams to have one down game.  Does this hurt the overall conference, do you guys think?

I'm just curious because it could be argues either way.  Is it better to show overall conference strength or have one powerful team go undefeated. 

I say overall strength, but then that can hurt the teams when it comes to playoff seeds.

Also, dont you think that te way the E8 has been represented in the playoffs the last few years helps them when determining seeds next year?  Is that in the back of their minds on selection sunday, or is it strictly what have you done for me lately?  Thoughts?

technically that can never be a factor.  But any part that is human judgement (rather than standing or computer based) has to have it be at least a small factor.  The more success the conference has the more it helps.  Even more so with individual teams.  Example: there is no way St Johns wasn't making the playoffs this year.  They deserved it either way, but anyone on the fence had to consider past success.

Ive always mentioned before (Pat C always fought me on it) that playing d2 teams helped Ithaca, even though d3 playoff selection criteria specificially states that it does not.  Human judgement always played a part.  Of course this new SOS makes things a little different as well (I think)

Actually- that was a funny pic.
Prob is that as you can tell from my lack of pc prowess i def wasnt a computer nerd, and as bad as we were- Fisher athletes (even back then) werent that bad looking.
