http://athletics.sjfc.edu/News/football/2007/1/28/FB01-28-07.asp?path=football

I just saw the news that Vosburgh was named coach of the year. Good for him. Glad to see some love for a great season this year.

Pumpkin, where in SoCal are you...I used to reside in LA myself?

DGP used tda live smack dab in the btw La Cienega and Fairfax before da little pumpkins starting showing up da the pumpkin patch.

Ehver since dat, DGP relocated to the burbs in da West Valet.

Not quite assssss nice as a little midwestern town dat starts wit a "C", ends in a "O" and has a "HICAG" in da middle; but it issss home.

Sir Spiedie

Hey Pep, let us know when you can run around the statue of the  Saxon king so we all can watch you on the streaming video on the Alfred web site. Maybe you could hold up a sign  to the DIII nation.

Sir Spiedie:

'Tis lookin' a bit wintry around King Al, isn't it? Unfortunately, Pep is seldom over on that end of campus with the library presently undergoing renovation. Herrick Library where I work is off to the left of King Al. The building you see is the Powell Campus Center, where, from Herrick, Pep often takes coffee breaks and meets with Habitatters.

Pep is boxed up and being stored (in a faculty study with a maximum occupancy of .75 persons)  in Scholes Library (other end of Academic Alley) for the duration of the renovation project during which Pep makes daily runs with the "bookmobile" to retrieve books as requested from Herrick's off-site storage facility, a.k.a. "The Club," infamous for its prose, poetry and poultry.

As for Pep running around the King with signs to D3Nation, perhaps Pep will partake during pigskin season once he's back in his Herrick home.

Sir Spiedie

Just give us plenty of advance notice.

AUPepBand

You got it. Perhaps Pep can one day get the entire band to march around the King playing the fight song....of course you won't be able to hear it on the webcam, but it will make a pretty sight, no?

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Sir Spiedie

Superman, I don't know what gave you that idea, Spiedie has no such desire. It's passing strange that you even bring up such a queer idea.  But if you have such a preference, don't use Spiedie as straw man, come right out and say it.  ;D

AUPepBand

Now, now, boys, were you ever to meet AUPepBand in person, you would realize that there probably is NO ONE on the face of this earth that would want to see Pep running around in his birthday suit, no matter their preference.

AUPepBand is thinking about donning his "Alfred Station Al" groundhog suit and visiting King Alfred's Pine Hill Perch at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2 in celebration of Groundhog Day. Pep realizes it's short notice, but got to thinking that AU's strategically placed webcam could broadcast worldwide via internet any type of celebration occurring around King Al. Pep is thinking.......stay tuned!

No Posts on the E8 Board yesterday?  Did y'all go on vacation or something?

Wanted to drop in and say hello to E8Nation.  The Chairman has been swamped with his other job.

I am glad to see the Mount boys are still with us.  That could be a solid addition to E8Nation. A lasting effect of Fisher's international diplomacy.

Also, glad to see we didn't lose spiede during the passive posting nature of the off season.  Kirasdad and Spiede, are boys as glad as I am that this cold snap is finally over?

FisherAlum05

so what is everybody's opinion on the E8 for this upcoming season?  Its been a while since ive posted so i wanted to see what people are thinking.  I figure it will look something like this:

1.  Fisher
2.  Springfield
3.  Ithaca
4.  Alfred
5.  Hartwick
6.  Utica
7.  Norwich

I really like Fisher to repeat again this season but it won't be easy.  They lose only a handful of players but that includes Lang and Robinson. Not too sure about the bottom 3 teams in the conference but i figured hartwick has boltus returning at QB.

Jose you're right its good to see the Mount guys still around on our board.  Mount guys what does the OAC look like?  Does Capital or B-W have a chance this upcoming season?  How many key players is Mount losing?

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

Mount lost Jorris, but has Michelli.  Still have Kmic and Garcon.  Also 2-3 of the OL are coming back and I think a couple who got injured have another season left.

Losing two DEs, a LB and a S on D I believe, but last year was supposed to be a rebuilding year, so I suspect this year will be as good or better.

They guy who runs our "Pick'ems" contest who is pretty darn good at the spreads has the OAC looking like this:

1.  MUC
2.  JCU
3.  Capital
4.  ONU
5.  BW
6.  Otterbein
7.  Marietta
8.  Musky
9. Wilma
10.  Berg

But 2-5 could shuffle around.

Chairman,
Yes, it was freaking cold Tue/Wed mornings here in New Port Richey!

Fellas - we're really feeling sorry for you guys.  What was "cold" 50?

Anyway - agreed on the appreciation Kiras...you guys are a welcome addition.

Jose - come on, too much work?  No time for PPs?  Thats not good.
