Chairman Jose, I don't recall Lakeland ever having done this before.

I am not sure they ever have either but, if anyone has sent that many kids to a Major D1, it is Lakeland.

what about Arkansas last year the coach who got the OC job at arkansas brought a bunch of his kids with him

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Deland was hit hard again, Pep, from what I hear from my Aunt, and see on the news...

AUPepBand

Pep was late to work on Groundhog Day as he sat in disbelief watching a Fox & Friends report from Lady Lake, FL and Deland....yikes. While the homes Pep has been part of building (eight to date) will sustain hurricanes and tornados and such, Pep is more worried about the bunkhouses at the church camp that 32 of us call "home" for a week. Lots of trees at the camp. Any local news links, Sir Spiedie?

Here is another. As is often the case, the mobile--and I do mean mobile--homes got the worst of it.

so what is everybody's opinion on the E8 for this upcoming season?  Its been a while since ive posted so i wanted to see what people are thinking.  I figure it will look something like this:

1.  Fisher
2.  Springfield
3.  Ithaca
4.  Alfred
5.  Hartwick
6.  Utica
7.  Norwich

I really like Fisher to repeat again this season but it won't be easy.  They lose only a handful of players but that includes Lang and Robinson. Not too sure about the bottom 3 teams in the conference but i figured hartwick has boltus returning at QB.

Fisher has to play at Buttefield with a rookie QB.

CV- Kramer is back, and not only that so are both starting receivers & TE's. They will be unbelievable with the passing game this year, and I look for them to shift to a very pass oriented offense in 2007... I see 57 says Reile is back but I'm not sure about that. Wouldn't doubt it, but unclear as to what 1 yr of 4 mba classes will do for him besides give him more carries. He still won't be the feature back this year - heard it here first.

I think that Fisher can win it all this year given the weapons on offense - also don't forget about the defense, they lose Lang & Pyz but they will be very staunch yet again. I don't know if Sharpe can have a repeat performance in '07 - highly unlikely. Also unclear as to how Ithaca will look... a little insight por favor.

Note: Win it all = E8 ... Not Stagg

Hey Tags- looks like the Vikings played CS real tough the other night-they should go far in sectionals and beyond-how's things-real slow on here lately

I heard that ER - they will be a favorite for the small schools in section V no doubt.
Things are slow here as well: work, Heineken, sleep - repeat.

We'll have to tee it up in Rochester this summer - I'll give a call when the weather clears. Hope all is well.

Tags- you'd think that slug #25 would be able to get us on at Oak Hill, but he says he can't unless we sneak on-Jen has connections at work with memberships there-maybe I can work something out with her-had a chance to play Oak Hill back in the early 80's when I could still play, but it fell through, oh well, there are a lot of nice places in Rochester-maybe Thompson could pull some strings for us?????

Pep another good site, the local TV station ... http://www.wesh.com/index.html  That is the best station there in my opinion.

SC 9-1
Alfred 9-1
SJF 8-2
IC 7-3
Hartwick 4-6
Utica 3-7
Norwich 1-9

This of course is for 2007....

Quick...everyone start hating on me!

I think the 3 teams split again and I also think SC takes a hard lose to Alfred

SC can go 10-0 in the regular season, they still won't get past the 2nd round.

No offense Pep, but I think Alfred loses 2 out of 3 vs. Fisher / SC / IC ... They just haven't shown the pedigree it takes to consistently beat good teams.
