You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Schools closed in Tampa as well...not really enough sun out.

realistic

Mr. Chairman...I believe all of the names I want to call you right now will be rejected by d3sports.com so I will pass.

Here in NYC we didn't get too much (3-4 in ) but it was an icing mix mess and still hasn't been cleaned up well.  It's nasty out there.

Chairman Jose---You can not resist plucking that low hanging fruit, can you. ::)

Jose, low blow...but hey we won't comment when the big cloud comes over your head and strikes you with lightning

Sorry boys, sometimes it is hard to resist.  At least I paid my dues and suffered through four Ithaca winters.  I'll be thinking of you all when I am at Spring Training on Saturday and the Outback Pro-Am on Sunday.

The Chairman is a huge Neckar fan but had to forgo his tickets to the 500 due to other obligations.

Checked the PeP cam this morning and King Al had a hat and scarf on and Academic Alley looked pretty deserted.
Binghamton and Albany I heard were hard hit.

Survivors, report in please.

This is Pep, reporting from Saxonville where the ski teams are rejoicing and classes have resumed today after yesterday's campus closure.

Pep works a split week....at the library 3-11 Sun.-Mon.-Tues., off Wednesday and 8:30-4:30 Thurs.-Fri. And, as fate would have it, the campus was closed, of course, on Pep's day off!

But things are getting back to normal...Pep shoveled out the bookmobile and, while his book retrieving cohort (Herrick Library is closed for renovation so Pep "retrieves" books from an "off-site storage facility" [formerly a huge hen house that cohort and Pep call "The Club"] didn't come in to work, so Pep will be retrieving all afternoon.

On top of shoveling out, Pep has a very bad head cold.  :(

Looking forward to March 4-10 in Deland, Florida building houses for Habitat!

Gee, no one around for a couple days? Just saw AU beat Utica 62-61 in McLane Center for the Saxons' basketball finale. Now if Elmira were to beat RIT....which is not even remotely possible, the Saxons would make the E8 Tournament, having split with front-runners Fisher and Utica, although AU beat both by 1 in Saxonville, while losing by 40 at Fisher and by 9 at Utica.

Superman, you're saying the Fisher players are really into their helmets? Aren't they required to wear them?

Pep remembers when Fisher looked just like the San Francisco 49ers...but Pep thinks that was back when the 49ers were winning Super Bowls.

82 remembers when we wore 'hand me downs' from the Washington Redskins as our home and away pants. Cards Kicking coach, Gary Mervis, (Camp Good Days and Special Times) was an assistant on Super Bowl III champ Kansas City Chiefs, and had numerous friends and contacts in the NFL( I dont recall exactly what his contact was with the 'Skins).  The program in the early '90's was a bit skimpy as far as funding went and we took what we could get, including the old-school, zipper style football pants...they were the gold with burgandy stripes and white with burgundy and gold stripes.

Being a 'die-hard' Redskins fan of the Riggins, Theismann and Mosely era I was very happy for our budget shortcomings that produced these unis...

I as well do not get the 'new' attitude of changing uni style every 4 years and would prefer some sort of tradition...but as long as it takes a back seat to winning, it is not a big enough deal to be concerned too much about.

Pep liked the A over the U on the helmets that the Saxons had several seasons ago....much like Auburn's. It worked well for awhile until AU was forced to abandon it after the Saxons' placekicker Ryan Rambacher and holder Brian Keefer were featured in a fall 2000 USA Today article that was spotted by Auburn University trademark attorneys. (Keefer had been holding for Rambacher since youth football and joked that if Rambacher got an NFL kicking contract, the two came as a package deal). Pep is sorry Li'l Alf caved to the Auburn attorneys as Pep could prove that said logo appeared on Alfred University baseball uniforms in the early 1900s. Nevertheless, "AU" in an oval has sufficed.

I would but I think I would have a conflict of interest since I am not only the father of Anna Nicole's baby but also her long lost son...pay me that money.
