One league title and FA91 is already looking past the Bombers.  You better hope for another down year for us before you worry about Rowan's down year! +k for unabashed optimism.

It will really depend on the QB situation at Rowan.  Orihel's backup is now a senior.  He's about 6' 0" - 6' 1" and has been with the team since he's been a Freshman. He replaced Orihel for 8 games or so over the 2004-05 seasons.  The kid was a capable backup ie., played within himself and didn't "lose" the game.  He's like 6-2 or 7-2 (losses to Mount Union and Virginia St. DII) as a starter.  Will he emerge as real leader?  This would be the first time in years that Rowan (late 1980's) doesn't have a bonified stud at QB.  I would expect a transfer or two in camp to challenge for the job.

The rest of the team is deep and the Wr's should mature.

What losses does Fisher have to replace, and which teams should challenge for the E8 in 2007?

mr chair- not looking past IC at all- i just got a good glimpse of the rowan faithful at the game last fall and can honestly say that i am not a big fan at all.

What happened with the Rowan fans?  Students?  Alumni? Parents?  I've seen a few bad apples in my day, but I think most are OK.  Same with our oppoent's fans.

as the game got more and more out of hand the Rowan faithful got increasingly chippy.
was not overly impressed.
though i cant compare it as that is the only game ive been to in 15 yrs...

Any word on whether or not that one old guy that was on here during the playoff sued Fisher?  Souned like he had sued almost every other Rowan postseason opponent.

Fisher loses the biggest piece of their offense... Mark Robinson.  Despite what the Fisher faithful may claim (and windbag will backup), Reille isn't the same runner and that is going to hurt the Fisher offense.  They also lost a few studs on the Defense.

Most likely the E8 comes down to Fisher and IC again.  Springfield will be Springfield again and has the advantage of playing both IC and Fisher on the track in Massachussetts.  But, until their gimmick offense wins the league, they are still out of the top 3 for me.

The real wildcard will be Alfred.  Nearly beat SC at SC last year.  Beat Fisher two years ago at Fisher and then beat IC this past year at home.  They have a Senior QB coming back that is the early favorite for E8 POY (he and Sharpe).  They have SC at home but have to go to Fisher and IC.  The Butterfield trip really hurts their chances at winning the league I think.

no doubt Fisher will miss Mark.  Not only as a player but as a leader.
Here is to hoping that ER keeps going to some games in the future as i had such a blast with the whole clan!

I wasn't able to make the game. Maybe the fans were looking past SJF and weren't expecting a spanking.  Usually their pretty good, but that South Jersey/Philly mix of fan can be pretty hard core.  They boo'd Santa Claus one year before an Eagles game.

fisheralum91

before the game started- those that i bumped into were trashing the facilities and size of the college....trashing the facilities?
wow-
the tase of that loss must have put thim into a tizzy as "they" some were very rude especially one certain RV driver....

JT

Facilities?  Doesn't the Buffalo Bills have training camp at SJF?

fisheralum91

thank you.
i still cant get over the change in the campus since i was there.
the sheer amount of money to get the campus looking like that is unreal!

Pat Coleman

The stadium looks very impressive. Any Rowan fan who was displeased with the stadium must not have been on his own campus lately.

JT leave us philly fans alone on that santa claus deal that was almost 50 years ago..it always amazes me how fans across country always talk about how philly fans boo santa....like they were at that game or its a weekly thing booing santa and their home stadiums have never boo'd anyone...especially espn's dork announcers
