The stadium looks very impressive. Any Rowan fan who was displeased with the stadium must not have been on his own campus lately.

I can't believe I am going to defend Rowan fans but, the visiting bleachers at SJF stink.  They are too low and you really can't see the field.  The years that IC plays there the FDC club goes really early to get seats on the home side.

holy crap- mr chair- i agree on that point but look past that and the facilities are second to none!

nit picker :P

Wierd.  For me, as long as the field is in good shape, I'm a happy camper.  I really don't spend much thought on evaluating an opponent's campus.  Hell, I haven't seen my own in years.  The Prof's football field is on the corner of campus where I enter.  I go the game and leave.

Supposed to build a new facility some day, when the funds are available.  Current situation: Nice field turf, crappy wooden bleachers, and crappy press box.

i figured with such a dominant program it would have been state of the art!!

the lockerrooms and weightroom are probably nicer at Fisher but, just can't beat Butterfield Stadium or, as the Buff State radio girl once called it, Butter Field.

I mean, the clubhouse at the Trop is way nicer than the clubhouse at the Fens...but is there any other comparison?

fisheralum91

is it kinda like butter face?   :P

now that is funny.

EDIT: Would be funnier if Fisher could actually win at the house that Jim built.

Yeah, the closer anyone from Fisher gets to the Stadium the more it looks like the back of Bill Struzzi's jersey...

fisheralum91

For years, the practice field was only 60 yards in length.  A new sports facility is part of the expansion plan.  Rowan has a cashe of land about two miles up the road for a West campus.  Among the things scheduled to built are a technology center and a sports complex.

Rowan was supposed to partner with MLS to build a stadium, but I haven't heard anything more since September.
