AUpep et al,
I do agree that the visiting stands are in dire need of an upgrade,
A little birdie told me at the Rowan game that plans were in place to replace said stands. All in a matter of time gents.  Rome was not built in a day-
For crying out loud- they still had the portable trailer for the bathrooms- that too will be fixed.

And we have plans here at AU to build a field house....but unless there's a time frame, it's all just hot air.

At Merrill Field, Pep would like to see a lockerroom/training facility/fieldhouse constructed at the north end, where there once was an old green fieldhouse. A pedestrian bridge could be installed from the AU Motor Pool Facility parking lot to said proposed fieldhouse where visitors' buses could drop off the team at their lockerroom adjacent to the field.

In addition, with coming demolition of Davis Gym, AU needs an addition to McLane with at least three multi-purpose courts....basketball, tennis, and an indoor track. Sarge...was your check lost in the mail?

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!

True on Butterfield and Val...Deb is definately making some good ones (my sister at the HS level)

I'd even say Mullins could be added to the list as well.

along the same lines:

Division III football has more Ithaca graduates as head coaches thangraduates of any other school (Buffalo State, Carroll, Coast Guard,Ithaca, Macalester, Morrisville and Muhlenberg). There's only one active college baseball coach -- at any level -- who coached three current Division I head coaches; Army's Joe Sottolano,Cornell's Tom Ford and Penn's John Cole all played for Val.

realistic

Wow - that is impressive.  I knew Ford but not the others.

That is pretty big news I think.  They are really replacing the track?

thats good news...the springfield turf was old and in pretty bad shape.  They need new grandstands too.

not to blow up your spot... but as I was looking down the east region I saw a lot of springfield coaches too. They have 9 head coaches in DIII (Springfield, Alfred, Bates, Colby, Kings, Maine Maritime, Mass Maritime, Susquehanna, Rhodes)  I guess that IC is second.

sorry, sloooow day at work.
