Is it Fall yet?  Sure feels like it here at Orangehat's new address.  I hope everyone is doing well.  I just wanted to check in and see who's still representing the bombers... it looks like the chairman is doing a good job... I'll be back when the weather gets warmer.

Go Bombers!

Woooooooooooo

AUPepBand

Welcome back, MIOH....been awhile since any of the big colored hats have posted on here. It'll be time to kick off before you know it.

Since you've last been here, AUPepBand has read Lois Butterfield's "Wasn't That Fun?" book which hit home with Pep both in football and life, what with the passing of Pep's mom March 5, 2007 after a long bout with Alzheimers. Lois' epilogue was particularly touching and Pep appreciates her willingness to write it. Pep hopes to meet Lois at Butterfield Stadium in '07.

Again, welcome back, MIOH.....+K!

"The Big L," as she is affectionately known in Bomberland, sits in the same seat at every Bomber home game.  Just to the side of the stairs into the Press Box.  Although, I am not sure if she is still coming.  Nevertheless, as a point of reference, that seat would be directly behind the FDC.

Checking the PePCam, it looks like the snow will be completely gone ny Hot Dog Day. Is that some sort of Rite of Spring at Alfred? When is the last day of classes/exams.

Pep,

Thanks for the warm welcome... it's good to be back.  And I agree... I read her book 3 years ago and loved it... I wish they would make it summer reading for incoming students... that would probably help recruiting efforts for the FDC, not to mention give the youngsters a sense of what bomber pride should be all about.

Q's comments are interesting... There's actually a spot marked out in paint (unless Earnie has removed it)  where "Big L" used to sit before the creation of the FDC.  She has since re-located because of our antics.  I have received confirmation from inside sources that she is a supporter of what we do though... which was a big sigh of relief for all of the FDC's brass.

+K to all!  I hope you had good winter's

Anyone have spring practice news/rumors?  This is about the time where we should have some new posters with lots of inside info right?

Are we still a year away from when Nick Gatto will be post eligible?

maninorangehat
