Sir Spiedie

Spiedie had a delightful experience and wonderful meal at the Columbia restaurant last night in Ybor City. 1905 salad, boliche, paella. Spiedie highly recommends all E8ers to try the Columbia if they are ever in Tampa.

Lee Roy Selmon's BBQ Joint is another good spot in Tampa.  He is the Bucs only Hall of Famer.

I recommend the BBQ Chicken Nachos or the pulled pork.

I could go for a 1905 right now Spiede.  Did you make it next door for a stogie at La Herencia de Cuba?  My new favorite roller in Ybor.

Sir Spiedie

No, but Spiedie  was given a nice Dominican while I was there.

MIOH: Have not been to LeRoy Selmon's but have heard good things. Spiedie once had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Selmon at a USF game. A gracious gentleman.

Q,

Any word on your project?

Go Bombers!

WICB Sports

WICB Sports is pleased to announce its broadcast team for Bombers Football 2007.

Dan Cassavaugh '08 and Michael Polak '10 will call all ten Bombers games.  Cassavaugh, a journalism major from Norwich, NY, has called high school football and basketball for WCHN Radio for the past four years.  He has also broadcasted high school football, basketball, baseball and softball on SouthernTierSportsNetwork.com.

Polak, a sport media major from New Hyde Park, NY, joined WICB's staff this past year.  Polak has anchored sports on ICTV's Newswatch 16 as well as his high school's award-winning Sports Talk Show.  Polak has also worked as a sports reporter for his high school newspaper and a public address announcer for high school football and basketball.

Josh Giordano '09 joins the broadcast team as the sideline reporter after working the sidelines at last year's Cortaca Jug game.

Robert Schroeder '08 and Evan Heidenrich '08 will host Countdown to Kickoff.  Michael Berger '08 and Lee Small '09 will form the halftime team and will broadcast the halftime show live from Butterfield Stadium during home games.

A new feature to Bombers Football 2007 will be a postgame show, headed by Lee Small.  We definitely want callers for this show, and we're hoping lots of you on these message boards will call in.  More details to come in the future.
