I was in Gainesville this year for the Ol' Ballcoach's return as a cock and it was a bad scene.  I couldn't even imagine how Gator Nation would react to this scenario.  It would be memorable.

Let me know if you ever have any extra Tix for a Gators game.  I would love to watch a game at the swamp.

I would head up there for a game kirasdad.  I don't own season tickets but I go to just about every home game now as I have access to many different season tickets.  On the occassions where I strike out in my connections I scalp and it is very affordable.  Trust me, an afternoon at the swamp is well worth the price of admission.

I am.  Born and raised.

Spiede is in Polk County and PG04 is in Miami I think.

Not Miami, but close, an hour north in West Palm Beach.  The sticky days are coming this week after the deluge we had the last 2 days.

Sir Spiedie

Spiedie was going to express an opinion about Billy Donovans departure from Florida, but as Roseanne Roseanadana would say: "Never mind."

I didn't know you were in WPB PG.  I was just down there over the holiday weeekend.  What school do you teach at?

I actually don't teach either! haha...That's OK, I work at a Mortgage Servicing Company.  I do a lot with SQL   and database programming.

realistic

I have no idea what any of that means....but it sure sounds exciting.  +K to you.

I think the Chairman was stereotyping Brockport as a SUNY Cortland Jr.... see what happens when you stereotype Mr Chairman.

bomber59

Long time lurker, just back from Bomberland and the Butts outing.  Kinda funny that the schedule has not been published yet, but they had t-shirts for sale with the schedule for 2007.  Also, looks like coach Raymond will not be back for the 2007 campaign.

Welcome Bomber 59 +k.  IC doesn't post its schedule officially until it has got all the contracts back from the opponents.  I hear it will be posted soon though.

PG, sorry about that.  I thought I remembered a comment about teaching kids in Overtown.  No stereotypes, just a bad memory I suppose.

Bomber59 - Welcome aboard.  Small world, as I am sitting next to your brother here in NYC.

boobyhasgameyo

soooooo i am growing impatient waiting for the new season to begin.  i just keep thinking about how last year ended, and while it was really awesome i hope Fisher can build on it and not settle for semi-finals.  Really looking forward to the game at Ithaca as well, Booby will make every effort to make it down for the game.

come on late august / early september.....get here

peace out gentlemen, a slight paraphrase of the great Katsumoto that I feel best describes my current sentiments..... I miss our conversations

No problem!  I didn't think you were making the stereotype, there are many people on here in Florida, several of which are teachers.

P.S. I also cannot wait for the season!

Sir Spiedie

Mr. High Chairman, You will be happy to know Spiedie contributed to the Tampa economy by making a trip to La Segunda Central for Cuban Bread and Guava Pastries and then on over to the former Cacciatore Brothers for various and sundry cold cuts and fresh made Italian sausage. Life is good.

Sir Spiedie

And next week Spiedie will be travelling to beautiful Marco Island for a few days, where he will hopefully smoke a good cigar and watch the sun set on the Gulf of Mexico. (Maybe even while enjoying an adult beverage.)

Note to TGP: A friend  announced nonchalantly that he was travelling to "someplace called Geneva, NY". Of course, Spiedie filled him in about the delights that awaited him.

I would bet there is nowhere on the planet that makes cuban bread like La Segunda.  Not even in Cuba.

Note of curiosity: Third generation owner of La Segunda was the Chairman's Little League Coach
