That is all anyone is talking about down here in Bull Gator land.  There are more than a few alums that aren't so pleased.

well - D3 Polls (except d3football.com) always have to be taken very lightly...especially ones that come out in June.  But, nonetheless, Lindys came out with theirs.

3 E8 Representatives...none of whom wear Bomber Blue.

Lindy's poll: 1. Mount Union; 2. Mary Hardin-Baylor; 3. Wisconsin-Whitewater; 4. Trinity (Texas); 5. Wesley; 6. Hardin-Simmons; 7. St. John's; 8. Rowan; 9. Central (Iowa); 10. Bethel; 11. Capital; 12. North Central; 13. St. John Fisher; 14. Springfield; 15. Wheaton; 16. Wabash; 17. Wartburg; 18. Washington and Jefferson; 19. Wilkes; 20. California Lutheran; 21. Baldwin-Wallace; 22. Alfred; 23. Hobart; 24. Whitworth; 25. Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

always starts some interesting banter though.

How can Wesley be in the top 5 after getting monkey stomped two years in a row in the Semis?  Top 10 sure but seriously top 5?

Also Rowan in the top 10?

Pat Coleman

It's Lindy's, baby. No resemblance to reality.

its the Lindys Poll, in early June.  Not a whole lot goes into these other than looking at last years finishes.  I posted it more because it was actual football news, not because it carries any weight.

Back up and read the posts you missed. Only need to go back a week or so.

Pat rightfully dethroned him (sorry Jose).  Too many "I know for a fact......" statements that were not supported by any fact.

yeah i thought it seemed based on last year's results plus probably what he "projects" could happen in '08.

Hey, hey, we made the top 25!  Now I only hope that the Saxons are in everyone's top 25 when the season ends...

Hay, hay, hay season here in Mayberry, AUKaz00. Let's hope the Saxons make some hay this season.... They've got talent and experience returning, so let's make hay while the SUN shines!

Interesting Bomber article in the paper today.  Both coordinators out.  I don't think Schur's stay in Ithaca will go down as a success story.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

interesting article.  It will be a blow since both moves were somewhat unexpected.  I think Pentergast will be good.  Now I think the move from last year when he was hired makes more sense.  A former D-1A coach becoming a line coach didn't make sense to me at the time.  Now that the article said it was a year long application process for Raymond, I think it was planning ahead by Welch and compnay.  A nice move and I think Pentergast will be great.  The Offensive side makes me nervous with a 3rd coordinator in 3 seasons for Juvan.

Finally this gets out.  I have been sitting on my tongue for weeks.  I think it is good for us.  Clearly the OC last year wasn't getting it done.  We won't lose much anyway since Coach Welch is still heavily involved in the Offense.  I also think the defense won't miss a beat.  I am thinking Pendergrast was pretty heavily involved in the transfer to the 3-4 and our guys will be in their second year of that scheme.  Sad to see Raymond go however.

Pentergast... wasn't there a pentergast on Fisher last year?

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.
