Welcome back, Yellow hat!
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

Good to be back on the board for a first time in waaaaaaaay too long.  I heard I missed quite a bit of controversy here.  Hope things are still pretty lively over the summer, as I'm ready to get involved again.

Welcome back, MIYH! Will you be getting back east for any games this year?

Thanks Pep and Tecmo.

I plan to be back for Cortaca, as always, and I think I'll be back for Fisher also.  When do the Saxons come to town?

MIYH: The Saxons will be at Butterfield on Nov. 3---the week before Cortaca. I hope to be introduced to Lois at the game, after having read her book. 'Twas a thought-provoking read for me during my Spring Break bus trip to Florida, when my mom, who once was knocked out cold from a hit she took from BY's pops while sitting on the sidelines of an AU football scrimmage at RIT, was in her last days of a battle with Alzheimers. Dad has also since read it and could relate all too well, his being primary caregiver throughout her gradual decline.

So, given the slim odds MIYH can travel cross country two weeks in a row, it looks like Pep won't be seeing MIYH at Butterfield this year....but hoping the Saxons will give the band opportunities to strike up the fight song, a song you've heard at least a couple of times before.  8)

PEP,   (and all future commishioners (spellcheck) should have their name in caps at all times)
i am about 45 min from charlotte.   I'd love to get ahold of that young buck of yours.  He's got a sense of sarcasm that keeps even me on my toes.  Tell Jordan to make like a tree and get ahold of me  (thank you future Biff Tanner).  I'd love to hang out with him.

Sarge....you need to engage the grey matter when posting...Pep has no idea what you're talking about!

First, +k Pep for the "Grey Matter" comment.

RE: Book Pep Read

What is the title Pep, if you don't mind

RE: Meeting up

Pep, I'd like to have the opportunity to finally meet you this year. I was at the Alfred Game last year but we did not set anything up. What about the game this year at Fisher, will you be in attendance?

Wasn't That Fun by Lois Butterfield

http://bookstore.ithaca.edu/STORE2/MerchList.aspx?ID=1901

Its really a great read.  The only thing you have to get past is, The Big L (as she's known in Bomberland) doesn't use the names of any players.  She just refers to them the way she knew them (ie That big RB or the Lefty QB with Red Hair) etc.

Tags: Pep will certainly be in attendance--in the middle of the AUPepBand--when it makes its appearance at Growney Nov. 10. If for some unforeseen circumstances the band doesn't make the trip, Pep will be there just the same. But Pep's been recruiting and is hopeful the band will represent AU well--at home AND away.

It's been quiet in the E8 nation for quite some time now. I'll start it off this morning, but won't be for long - meeting at 8:30... Good times!

1,900 on that previous post - good stuff (or not good stuff if you were to ask FMTags).

That was quite a rise to 1900 posts.

I bought my plane ticket for Cortaca last night.  Gotta love the Ding fares.

Sorry Pep, doesn't look like I'll be in attendance to hear the Saxon Fight Song.
