A Daly/Woods group on Sunday would sure be fun.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

In theory - but big John would crack pretty badly I think. Could be an 80 in the cards that day for him if that were to happen.

Sir Spiedie points out that today marks the beginning of the Lumberjack Festival in Deposit, featuring, of course, spiedies!!! For a good time, get thee to Deposit!!!!

Speaking of deposits, seems like TGP's morning coffee seems to be kicking in......

Please excuse me

Scratch the Daly/Woods final.

Not what we would call a "strong" finish from John this morning.

Kudos to Ithaca for winning the sundae war.  I hope everyone got their free sundae yesterday!

Jose, apparently Ithaca has been in disagreement with a small town in Wisconsin over where the ice cream sundae was first invented.  Two students at I-High produced documentation that proved the first Ithaca-made sundae pre-dated the first Wisconsin one by about 20 or 30 years.

No wonder Ben and Jerry came to speak at the 2003 commencement.

There is no truth to the rumor that the ice cream SUNDAE was originally spelled SUNDAY, only to be changed when some football player from Alfred misspelled it on a chalkboard in a lockerroom at Ithaca College in the early 1950s.

Do they have Sundaes in Salem...  I hope so.  If not maybe we can get Purity to take a truck up to the Bombers game.
