Dubbz had a class in Dillingham.   but, I will never forget my class with Dani Novak.  One class he came in, handed out crayons to everyone, and proceeded to say "we are not going to study math today. We are going to color. coloring relieves us of stress and today Dani is stressed. go ahead begin coloring."  after I drew a monkey humping a football while wearing a cortland helmet he asked us to show our pictures to the class.
I was the only one that got cheared, laughed at, and snickered at, at the same time.    We also sat in a circle holding hands for one class talking about water.
Yes, this was a math class.

KS had a math professor at NJCU who was, lets say interesting.  She used to tape cardboard over the window on the door, then gather the class into a small circle and talk to us about the Little Green Men theory.  She was a complete nut job, but brilliant.  Her doctorate was in quantum physics and she was a consultant to NASA.  But she was screwy.

aaahhhh.... Ithaca Professors.  How I miss it.  I forget his name but me and 4 of the guys I lived with took a Pshychology class senior year with a guy who gave his fisrt "quiz" that consisted of Name, favorite color, and a picture.  Most of the class was about that hard.  He went over the mid-term and final questions and answers the week before.  Somehow I only got an A-....

Realistic also had the random Dillingham class.  Now that place was strange.  I think the class was Intro to the New Testament.

I think MIYH actually bases his math class off of these IC professors teachings.

So the shortened version of the course title was "The Old Testament"?

I also had German I and II with Herr Richardson in the basement of Dilly.  It made Textor seem like Cabo.

Can't say we ever colored in my math class, but maybe I'll bring that up at the next department meeting.  Good looking out Dubbz.

haha - no I actually think there were multiple classes on the New Testament.  The only problem with being a Parkie was there were too few required courses...along with no math or science requirements.  I had to find classes and I made a lot of bad decisions involving the History, Sociology, Philosophy and Anthropology departments.

realistic -- you're a Parkie? How's that $80,000 of student loans treating you?  :o

well...I had some decent Aid, but the bill keeps coming every month and the total is slowly (very slowly) going down.  Park isn't any more expensive than the rest of the school....its a tough bill but I wouldn't change where I went for anything.

A guy I work with now also went to the Park school... that's how I found out that he still owes like 80 grand.

FrostedFlakesCrew81
SonyCrew81
MountainDewCrew81
VisaCrew81

Or do you think he'll be able to get the #8 away from DEI?

NASCAR, how bad do you have it?
FIXED.

I think he'll keep the 8, but if he doesn't, the 81 is cool too. I think I would take the name MountainDewCrew81. That sounds the best to me.

How about PBRLCrew69?

Being a park student wasnt so bad.  especially if you were a Park scholar.  You know,  the free tuition, free computer, dinners at Peggy's mansion, and the special trreatment.. which we're not supposed talk about.. because it not supposed to be known.  but oh wait.  i wasnt a park scholar.  and i didnt get any aid b/c my parents worked. in the words of one Ben Folds... "ya'll dont know what its like, being male, middle class, and white..."   Now i'm up to my raised foam finger in debt... and i'm in a really bad bad relationship with this chick named Sallie, Sallie Mae... she just takes EVERYTHING!!!!!
- nsrb isnt bitter or anything.  he did go to the school ranked #2 in Playboy.

As for great classes... i'll have to agree... Park left it up to us  with the whole... "choose your own adventure" curriculum.  Which wasnt the best idea ever, but it did have a few perks.  but I did landed a couple good classes like:  "A Natural History of Sex"  @ 8am t/TH, most of which I showed up to still asleep and hung over from the night before from drinking too much Icehouse... and "studying" with MIYH, Tecmo, and Dubbz (we watched animals do it for an 1.5 hr. 2x a week.  not too bad).  a close second was "Can we Laugh at Hitler?" ... well can we? with Herr Richardson, and one of the best ones was Public Comm with Amos Tevelow.  I enjoyed that class with Matt Princiotto and a 2 other guys on the team.  ... we accomplished nothing. in fact i think the professor learned more than we did.
