KS remembers a bar in the East Village called Doc Hollidays on tenth and avenue A that used to serve .75 PBR cans in the early and mid 90's.  KS used to get drunk there a lot.

gro how did u know pbr lived in brooklyn at one point in his berkenstock life?  only pbr drinks the real PBR not PBR lite....that is for men who sit down to urinate

All PBR drinkers will make the pilgrimage to Williamsburg at least once. Many visit, some stay.

I've never made the 90 minute drive up to the Pabst brewery outside Milwaukee, but I hear they have a water fountain that dispenses PBR, so it isn't a water fountain at all.

Side Note: In Wisconsin, water fountains are called "bubblers."

Damn inflation, I hope the place is still a dive.  I hope they still hire well endowed young ladies to be bartenders and that they get drunk and dance on the bar and pour shots directly into your mouth.

We're at $2.50 for a mason jar on draft, $2 a bottle here in Denver...no cans available though, sadly.

The only thing that you should be drinking out of a mason jar is shine or whiskey.  KS actually enjoys his Jack single barrel on the rocks from a mason jar.  Usually after a good cow tipping session.

They put PBR in bottles?  KS hasn't seen a PBR in a bottle since he was in the Navy, and KS got out of the navy 23 years ago.  PBR is different from other beers, it is best out of the keg, then out of the can and then the bottle.  PBR should always be draft or cans.

PBR should come out with a throwback can, one that you have to punch the two holes into with a can opener.

PBR...

pbr had some fresh 'hooch in georgia w/ pbr's friend...when done right it goes down smoooooooth, but man is that some strong potent ish...right out of the mason jar....

KS buddy Willy while in the navy was from "Possum Kingdom" SC.  KS used to go there with Willy a couple times a year to go hunting and bring some lightning and muscadine wine back to norfolk.  Good stuff both came in jugs.

PBR...

pbr remembers one time they made pbr(the rookie) lift the jug w/ his elbow (always the outside of the elbow) pull the cork w/ yer teeth (or tooth if your from the south) and tilt the jug up w/ yer elbow and take a swig and pass it on....
