Your original comment was that there's no chance on earth the Mets would be underdogs on Sunday. I posted the Glavine/Marquis numbers to show there's not much disparity between them.  In fact, I'm pretty confident the Cubs will be the Vegas line favorite on Sunday.

As is the case with all baseball lines, a lot depends on what happens in the first two games of the series. If the Cubs win the first two, the Mets will be favored under the assumption that they're unlikely to be swept. If the Mets win the first two, I bet the Cubs will be favored. Either way, it's not that important. But if you'd rather have Jason Marquis taking the hill than Tom Glavine then, well, I'm not sure there's much I can say.

a couple of all-americans for Fisher...Stepnick, Fortune, and Harmon. Two on offense, and one on D...now if they could just find a Mark Robinson in pre-season...

Exactly one month till Week 1...I can not wait.

Honestly with the offensive line they are returning and getting in via a great recruiting effort, it doesnt matter who they have at RB.  Not to mention Kramer, Harmon, Smith, Jackson, Nowicki and Marion are all returning at QB/WR/TE.  There is no way that teams will be able to put 8 in the box vs these guys.  SJF will be running vs a ton of 7 man fronts this year with all that talent.

SJF's JV line would start at most of the other schools in the E8 and Upstate region.  These guys are just sick coming in.

Congrats to Stepnick, Harmon, and Fortune on being named pre season All Americans!!  Also congrats to the SJFC team for earning a ranking of #5 in the nation!!  Hopefully we can prove our worthiness.

Cant wait for that IC matchup.  Does anybody have any information on the IC recruits coming in??  Do they have any studs coming that could contribute right away?  It will be a great game thats for sure!!
