Methinks that Jose is not going to like that post. I think Tebow is going to be in for a world of hurt on October 6th in Baton Rouge but, beyond that, I think he'll do pretty well. Meyer has a great system and the guy made Chris Leak look good. I think a 10-2 regular season record is within reason.

Anyone else notice that for the second time in three years, the best QB in the SEC is on a team in the bottom half of the conference. First it was Jay Cutler, now Andre Woodson of Kentucky.

1) Jared Lorenzen had the greatest nickname in the last ten years of SEC Football:  The Battleship.

2) He was a fat bastard that played at Kentucky.  Three of UF's starting O-Lineman could play QB at Kentucky.  

3) Tebow is the best athlete any of you have ever seen.  He is going to have some trouble and some normal growing pains but they won't be physical.  Plus, the kid can throw the pill.

4) Chris Leak is a little sissy girl, even if he did win a NC.  Sliding short of the first down on 3rd and 3 in the 4th Quarter at Tennessee last year was the least competitive I have ever seen a college athlete do.  How do you not square your shoulders and try to get the first down UF HAD to have?

5) God wears Tim Tebow pajamas to bed.

The guy is Danny Wuerffel.  I love Wuerrfel.  Maybe the greatest Gator ever.  But I don't think they are working on his bust for Canton.

How are those things the same as what I said about Leak?  Leak is a bad football player not an undiscovered good football player or an underrated good football player.

Warner had a good arm and a quick release.  And he was like 6'4.

Garcia is accurate, can run, and has a quick release.  And he is like 6'2.

Tom Brady has a good arm, good release, and is about 6'2

Doug Flutie had a good arm and could run.

All four of the above were competitors.  Chris Leak is a pussy.  Trust me.  I have seen every snap he took at Florida about 8 or 10 times.  (They show Gator games yearround down here).

i wasn't asked, but I totally agree with Jose's assessments of both Tebow and Leak....Tebow is a tough kid with talent and a winning attitude.......Leak always looked like a deer in headlights, losing fumbles and tossing picks......In my opinion, the Gators won IN SPITE OF HIM.
