2004 was a pretty fun year for the ponies with Smarty, Lion Hart, stupid Birdstone, and of course, my namesake, Rock Hard Ten.

Too bad Smarty couldn't finish the deal.  A couple horses made ridiculous runs in the Belmont simply to wear Smarty out early.  Now he gets to hang out and bang ladies horses for millions.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I think that if Fisher is able to overcome precious nightmares at butterball (see 05) then I think there is a legitmate chance that they could go undefeated...Fisher has proven that they can beat Sharpe on his on field and if they beat springfield and Ithaca...it won't really matter what happens in the AU game.... But I must say I think this could be the year that the east region is no longer the weakest of the 4

Superman I agree that if Fisher beats IC @ butterfield I think they have a very good chance at 10-0 (6-0).

PColeman:  Is this the year the East Region finally gets some respect in the NCAA tournament?  Especially after Fisher's respectable showing vs. Mount Union?  It would be cool to see the East Region Champion possibly play against the South or West Region Champion for once!!
St. John Fisher College...King of the East

FA05 be careful what you wish for...as good as MUC is I'm not sure whether or not I would want to fly up to St. Johns or the middle of no where in wisconsin

East played West in 2004.
East played West in 2003.
East played South in 2001.

Respect is earned, really. And it doesn't have much bearing on the way the bracket is set up.

Outside of Rowan the East hasn't done anything to earn respect in the last ten years.  Being "competitive" in the semid just isn't enough.

Besides, its not like the matchup matters, when you get that deep every team is awesome.

There has been some D-III ripping going on in the comments for that article.

Lineback had promised his gf he would have dinner with her tonight, so Lineback was going to miss the AUPep FFL draft.  Last night her grandmother got sick, so she might be staying in the suburbs tonight with her family. Lineback has mixed feelings, but is ashamedly excited he'll be able to be there for the draft.

Lineback just spent four hours studying for the Illinois Basic Skills Test which is the first of about 17 tests Lineback needs to take to be a teacher in Illinois.  School starts in two weeks!

Summer of Lineback is almost over.

Lineback fell asleep on the couch in the eighth inning last night and didn't find out about the win until the morning.

All I gotta say is, I hope the old man doesn't drink too much prune juice before a game, because someone of his age is at risk to poop their pads when playing a football game at a late age as of his.

whseguy (8/22/2007 at 1:14 PM)
will he have to use a mouth piece, or will taking his teeth out pre-game be suffice?

fkrauss84 (8/22/2007 at 1:20 PM)
Anyone who argues that D3 football is Legit, is obviously someone who played D3 or someone close to them played D3. Trust me, playing D3 football is like joining the rugby team at your college.

stoutfather (8/22/2007 at 1:45 PM)
fkrauss84- you're a joke....half the athletes that actually see the playing field on a D3 team thats any good could compete with D1AA, and D2 kids anyday....I played on a 1AA team, blew out my knee and transferred to a D3 school, so I know from personal experience. Playing D3 football is nothing like "joining the rugby team"....you probably wouldn't know, so you can continue to stroll through life in ignorance.

Some of the comments were pretty funny, such as the one about prune juice and the one about the mouthpiece.
