Pep is interested to hear how Pep Jr. handles his sixth grade mathematicians in the inner city of Charlotte...starting Monday. No doubt he'll pick out some ballers and assemble a basketball team before long.

MIYH.....what grade do you teach? Seventh? Eighth? Both? Gotta love that age group. Will you be coaching again? Pep Jr. #2 will be a 7th grader this year, and at A-A the 6th graders are on top of the elementary school....now he'll be a runt in the high school.

I teach 7th grade, but will have one 6th grade class as well this year.  I'm officially coaching softball this year, as of this morning, and will still do volleyball in the winter.  Not a lot of sports offered for the boys in our district.

Sorry for missing the fantasy draft last night boys but I had to entertain a couple guests down on Monroe Ave.

4 dollar pitchers... can you really blame me?

Regardless, it looks like I made some good picks even not being there.

I'll have a PM update for the Ithaca guys later.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

the windy city is especially windy right now. tree in the street.  a BIG tree. there's a light pole on three cars.

the 3 story brick building next door has one wall blown out.  You can see into it!  there is a pile of bricks like ten feet high you can see the ceiling rafters.

Not the type of team I'm looking to coach.  But I'd rather those be the cheers than what I saw last year when teams would cheer/argue about which dugout had the best dancers.  At least the hit the ball the other way pertains to the game, and may actually mean they're paying attention.

Little Miss Blue-eyed "High Beams" Pep played some minor league softball. Pep found those cheers annoying as well....and they're an excellent comparison to the beloved cowbells. +K for making the connection  :)

Seeing Donald Driver getting carted off the field with some leg (ankle?) injury does not help my fantasy team much.  Hope it's just a mild sprain!

did you notice I used "$" in my team name as an homage to you, MIYH?
