Random thought, I'd like to see SC/Rowan or an SC/Cortland game

Id like to see them play some other powers that they traditionally would not get to see.  What are some other matchups you guys would like to see.

I'd like to see a Fisher / Cortland matchup. Would have been good in '06.

I'd like to see da '85 Bears Vs. a Hurricane.

By the way, this particular hurricane just happens to be Hurricane Ditka.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Sorry Tags-

Tecmo won the big scrabble game last night as was taking advantage of the terms of victory.

Like I said earlier, we just can't hit the cut-fastball lefties. Capuano and Doug Davis have given the Cubs hell for years. Davis went two innings in his last start, but looked lik a world beater last evening.  Lee and Ramirez are slumping, but the rest of the order keeps pressing on. Beermakers lose again.  The Cardinals are going to pass them very, very soon.

YellowHat-  Have you heard any diamonback games this year?  Not sure if Don Sutton was broadcasting when you were there.  He is about the most obnoxious homer I've ever heard (behind Hawk of course).  At the end of the game last night he yelled "You lose, Cubbies... stick that up your flagpole!"  Yikes.

Sorry Tecmo,

Haven't ever listened to a D-Backs broadcast over the radio.  Used to catch them on the tube, but that was Thom Brenaman (sp?) and Mark Grace.  Only radio broadcast I've heard in years have been the Mets on WFAN.

Don Sutton broadcasts for the Washington Nationals.

Yes, I stand corrected.  It's his son Daron Sutton.

Thanks Superman, back at you not only to return the favor but it brings you to -25, I have a slight OCD thing and I like numbers to be 0's or 5's whenever possible lol.

So has anybody heard anything on Buffalo State? Were they improving towards the end of last year or should we expect more of the recent losing trend when we face them in week 2?  I know last year Ida winning more games than people expected ended up helping Fisher a bit, that would be nice if the same thing happened here.

Pretty good look at the teams in the WNY area for the upcoming season from the Rochester D&C.

Sorry for the delayed response on the srimmage boys:

Fisher looked great, but they were playing a pretty bad team...
I think the final through 1 half of football was about 55-7 or so...
The D did a very good job unlike preliminary thoughts, the 3rd and 4th stringers gave up the TD's I believe.
Offense was very sharp, scored on EVERY possesion.  I think the thing that impressed me the most was the special teams, I don't remember exactly but I know Stepnick and Jimmy Smith both returned punts for TD's.  The kickers looked good too.  I feel that specs are going to help this team out big time this year giving the offense good field position and hopefully backing up most teams for long drives.

Injury report: Fortune rolled an ankle but taped it up and played the whole scrimmage, and I think Jimmy Smith might have tweaked his hammy again.  Hanson took a pretty cheap shot early on in 7-7 drills that were suppose to be just "thud" but a kid came up and cracked him, but he still played once the real scrimmage started.

inside the park homer!  now there are runners on first and second with nobody out in the top of the ninth.  Kendall just fouled off ball four.  exciting game.

I'd love to hear what the terms of that scrabble game were!
